First Details: PS3's Malicious

Andriasang: It's been a couple of months since we last heard about Alvion's new downloadable PS3 action title Malicious. At long last, it looks like the publisher getting ready to tell us what exactly the game is, as this week's Famitsu has first solid details to go along with the eye catching screenshots that were released back in June. (Malicious, PS3)

Looks pretty slick for a downloadable psn game to be honest. This will have no place on the network - What with all the awesome twin stick shooters and innovative brick breaking games that ass it up.

At first I thought the game looked like it was fugly, but I realized the game blurriness is probably cause those screen shots are in 3-D.

they won't be, no dev would release shots in 3D, to the internet. It is pretty ugly, well. It's not ugly but it's not pushing against any graphical benchmarks.

so...many...PS3...games!
i can't help but chuckle at the time when people were so quick to throw out the "PS3 has no games" over and over and over and over again, and when the PlayStation fans pointed out that Sony had 19 first party, and 11 second party studios working on exclusive titles, and it was only a matter of time before those games started releasing, they were laughed at and ridiculed.

man oh man how things have changed. i have so many PS3 titles to look forward to i have to really organize my budget.

this game looks really interesting, i'm just hoping the game play will be fun. the art design is solid, and the PSN has really shown it's strength in the level of quality, fairly priced titles available. it's not about quantity on the PSN.

i'm upgrading my PS3 HDD soon, as i've been buying more downloadable games lately, and should really upgrade in general (i'm still using the same 60gig that came with my console when i bought it in early 2007).

this game is officially on my "watch" list. especially since it's hitting this year.

outside of Little Big Planet 2, Fallout: New Vegas, Pixel Junk Shooter 2, Shank, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Fable 3, Maijin and the Forsaken Kingdom, The Sly Collection, and maybe Enslaved and DC Universe Online.

i don't really have the budget for all of those, but LBP2 and Fallout: New Vegas are the main buys, followed by Sly Collection and Maijin (maybe Game Republic will get the credit they deserved, but didn't get with Folklore). the rest will have to wait if i can't pick them up.

i'll be looking forward to hearing more information about Malicious, though.
