SOCOM 4 hits GamesCom 2010 with PlayStation Move controls on an updated build!
. The graphics looked very sharp & detailed. Although, the camera's not showing the MOVE outside of the TV, it looked just like previous preview videos. Good game-play. I never played SOCOM series, unfortunately, but right now I already have SOCOM Fire Team Bravo 3 for my PSP, and it's a great game, in my opinion. As for SOCOM 4 a third person shooter, I'm looking forward to it.
Socom 4 is looking really promising. Great devs usually= great game, who would a thought. Can't wait for this bad boy to go gold.
whoa! the game looks smooth and detailed. I like the lighting too. the controls ain't jerky at all. the player just need a little mor epractice though.
Got Move and SOCOM 4 pre-ordered... it's on.

I feel like I'm stuck in Bizarro land, like I'm the only one who remembers the glitched out messes that SOCOM 1-3 were, or the fact that MAG is super content light. The aiming just looks like a Wii shooter, where in 20 minutes you're going to plug in a controller anyways. No one has listed specifically whats so great about these new SOCOM 4 video's is it the cover system that really wasn't needed in SOCOM? The AWFUL weapon sounds? Is it the awful AI (from what we've seen so far) which is a consistent theme across all SOCOM games by Zipper. Since all of you played SOCOM 1-3 SP right? The grenade prep and toss animation was nonexistent/terrible and I don't see what so different from the prone animation compared to Confrontations or even SOCOM3's.
"MAG is super content light." I dont agree. Unless you mean a story mode. Next week MAG new modes are going through beta test. MAG gets better each day. If it feels good going back to a regular controller aint happening. What I watched was a TPS easily and accurately being controlled using MOVE.
socom1-2 were fantastic
Looks like it'll have that PS3 Next gen flare that exclusive ps3 games with high production value has upon release. I like it. its looking mighty shart. and the MOVE implimentation is a nice touch. It seems that the move will be replacing my DS3 for usage with almost all the shooters that are released. i hope R3 uses it. because i know KZ3 and Ds2 and S4 will be playable in my house only on the move. :-) color me impressed but The move is it.

lovely graphics the type to fquench the hardcore gamer's thurst,MOVE = exciting & fun gameplay (i have the feeling that MOVE will make me play FPS games for longer). btw will this game come out before KZ3 ?
Those animations from standing to prone are smooth. This game is looking good. Bring on the multiplayer info!

I like the depth-of-field effect while in cover. Strange that the guy is using a SMG to fight at long ranges. You'd think he'd switch to the assault rifle he clearly has slung on his back. Maybe he likes it, because its modelled after a German-made weapon (it looks like a HK MP5), and the player is German? =)
