Ten Best Tactical RPG Video Games Ever Published

Michael Strauss: The role playing video game (RPG) genre has always been a hard to one to define. In part, this is due to the various sub-genres that exist. Besides traditional RPGs, there are JRPGs, action RPGs, and tactical RPGs, just to name a few. The last of these, the tactical RPG is somewhat unique because it generally has the least flexible storylines, which is almost the antithesis of tradition RPGs. Also, since tactical RPGs are almost all very long games, it tends to be a niche genre that does not appeal to casual gamers. Despite the lack of widespread appeal, it is a significant sub-genre of the RPG genre and some truly impressive games have been produced for the genre. Presented below are the ten best tactical RPGs to ever be published. (Industry)
