Riddick for PS3 and Xbox 360 moved to 2008

A Sierra Entertainment spokesperson has confirmed to Pro-G that The Chronicles Of Riddick: Assault On Dark Athena, the re-invention of the acclaimed PC and Xbox FPS Escape from Butcher Bay, is now scheduled to ship in 2008. No reason for the delay was given.

Back in May when the title was first announced Sierra revealed that Starbreeze Studios is handling development and would be sprucing the title up with enhanced visuals, a new story chapter and online multiplayer.

At least they can work on it and polish it more than Darkness. I'm still sad that a great game like Darkness was a bit rushed... could have been a classic.

who cares its the first game with better graphics and a few more levels, god forbid they do a new game
