Square Enix's The 3rd Birthday Twitter is about more than just The 3rd Birthday. Tetsuya Nomura has said that he'll be providing a few updates on his other projects, and he did just that earlier today for Final Fantasy Versus XIII and Final Fantasy Agito XIII.

I thought it was supposed to be released this year or early next year. Idiots. I was stoked to play this but the longer I wait the more I lose interest.
It'd be the same case with GT5, but that game is in another league of awesomeness.
I hope the original Japanese voices are on the disk and it's subbed properly. I dont mind if they do the english dub but i want options. I'm really starting to hate those people that dub most of my favorite fighting animes. They lose the badassedness of the fights.

I wonder where Nomura normally gets his idea's from but he just kind of stole this guy's looks for Noctis didn't he? Even both their eye's go red when fighting haha.
So I'm guessing a 2011 release date is in order then? I hope we don't have to wait too long, maybe a spring/ Summer release for Japan and then a holiday release for the west. Square Enix better show a gameplay trailer at TGS for having us waiting so long along with announcing an estimated release date. I mean, It's been 4 years since it was announced and now it's about to head into it's 5th year.
FF13 voice "recording" had taken for a year and ended on June 2009, then released on Dec. 2009.
However, Nomura said on Twitter that the production method for Versus is not the same with any game before. I think he doesn't want us to guess any release date for Versus.
"There have been many questions regarding fields. It's not a completely open world. It's like the 2D FF games in HD. Although, in terms of looks, it's not a top-down view, it's like the screenshots that have been released. You'll move through the world from that view."

Anyways, I predict that Nier was like the prototype of FF Versus 13.
so go out and buy Nier so Square doesn't think us westerners have completely lost our good taste. Nier is a really good game and it's a shame the industry has thrown it in the toilet. It's a shame FF13 sold 5 mil and Nier didn't break 1 mil.
European Re:coded release date any one. Also there is the new trailer for Birth by sleep to be shown.
Hell, if the games not coming for a few years, if they show anything for it this TGS while saying its PS3-only it wont mean anything. Not coming from Square.
