With its weekly update tomorrow, Sony Computer Entertainment will pop the chicken-filled Piyotama onto the PlayStation Network.
Blah, I don't see how anyone would download half of these dinky puzzle games when you can find just as good (if not better) free games online.
And I have nothing against paying for DLC, but they're gonna have to pump out something better than this!
looks like crap we better get more than this
Wow, that's one unknown game in my book. Lately all PSN games have been gaining so much attention but somehow this dodged my radar.
i hope this is not the only thing, that will appear on this weeks PSN update...
Looks like another crap arcade game. PSN really needs more demos than anything else.
How about they work on getting all the PS1 classics they removed back on there before adding more puzzle games. Some more free wallpapers and game demo's would be appreciated too.
I'd be happy with just more classics! Where the hell are Resident Evil, Dino Crisis, Parasite Eve, and Fear Effect?
I wanna play parasite eve! I can't find that game anywhere, other than ebay...and those guys rape you for it. Oh well. Hey, at least they put SOTN up....oh wait, that was a while ago, huh?
If only they would add the whole PS1 library. *sigh*
Not just the most popular games, but everyone including the most obscure games. Like Black Dawn. I haven't nuked some ghettos in a long time. I miss Spider and Disruptor too. A game of Theme Hospital and Intelligent Qube wouldn't be bad either.
@$%$ it! Stop mentioning SOTN! I have resisted buying it so far because i have the disk sitting on my game tower but i want to play it on my PSP so bad. You are going to make me buy it!! lol
The whole PSone library would be fantastic, but a very daunting task. Nintendo's work with the Virtual Console is probably the best commercial software emulation service around, but it still has miles and miles to go. Sony just seems very laid-back about the PSN right now, but I'm sure things will heat up when Home hits... or at least, I hope so.
As far as adding less popular titles to the Classics library... I think they should focus on the big ones first. For example: I'd download The Legend of Dragoon or Final Fantasy VII in a heartbeat. Croc, on the other hand... not so much.
The first thing that comes to mind is... I hope the PSN is updating with more than this crap. But why aren't they mentioning anything else?
I'm still waiting for a Lair demo.
After some of the negative reviews i highly doubt we will get a Lair demo. At least not until months after the game has shipped. It would be nice to get one though seeing as how i have the game reserved and would like to see if the neg. reviews were true or not. I'll be super pi$$ed if they were right and the motion sensing ruins the game.
A little note on Lair controls: I've been watching some Lair gameplay videos lately and it suddenly dawned on me that in no videos do I see the dragons flying uncontrollably, nor do any of the videos show any signs that the player is having much trouble performing any sorts of maneuvers. So if this anonymous player is playing with ease... how exactly does EGM see this game as having cripplingly bad controls? Just a thought. Lair's still going to be a day-one purchase for me -- I'm dying to play it myself.
It's probably got great graphics but average gameplay where the reviews will be in the 7.0 or 8.0. But not 5.5 like EGM gave it. Go to Gameranking and look it how EGM reviews Blue Dragon compared to other sites? EGM looks like they are from another planet with that.
The graphics look good enough to me, and flying around on dragons looks fun too. It's the controls that i am worried about. I never use them in any game and after i learned it was motion sensing only i am worried about it now.
is it just me or has anyone ever hard of this game before?
Since I couldn't get the game on the Japan PSN store. I'm glad they are bringing it to the US PSN store. Can't wait!
After all, PSN needs not only Demos, but ORIGINAL downloadable games. So when are PAIN, aqua vita, elefunk, pixel junk racers, snakeball, toy home and others coming out?
