Sarah LeBoeuf of Gamervision.com reviews the Xbox Live Arcade title Castlevania: Harmony of Despair: "Of all the games in Microsoft’s Xbox Live “Summer of Arcade” promotion, Castlevania: Harmony of Despair might just be the one that was most anticipated. Harmony of Despair is the first original downloadable game in the series, and the promise of cooperative action combined with gameplay that appeared to be similar to the excellent DS games seemed like a dream come true. Unfortunately, in designing a Castlevania game for six players, the developers at Konami took out many of the elements that made Symphony of the Night and the DS installments so wonderful, like RPG mechanics, addictive and time-consuming castle exploration, and single-player fun."
Hanzala from eXputer: "Contra: Operation Galuga is a classic revival done right, but why hasn't Konami done the same yet for the bigger and more popular Castlevania?"
Slowdown. Let them get these suikoden games done first. Alot of us are still waiting for those
well, the new C ontra was made by Wayforward, who have been taking sooooo many of these classic franchises and making new iterations of them. Imo they aren't very good at it. And I don't see operation galuga being a large enough success to possibly give them Castlevania.
Today Konami announced its financial results for the first nine months of the fiscal year, related to the period between April 2023 and December 2023.
Horrible news more proof todays "gamer" is just a cow ready to be milked.
That mgs collection is no better than my ps3 copy but my ps3 copy has 0 server restrictions i always roll my eyes when reviewers or these new "youtube gamer" channels show off the information books on a webpage via a trash in game browser or the lack of controller support like it s a good thing.
Also GOG still has a better version mgs 1 or use the duck ps1 emulator.

Several sources tell us that Konami is still working on a remake of the first installment, although right now Metal Gear Solid Delta is a priority for the studio.
As long as it's not like Twin Snakes. And I hope they have the option to keep the original PSone voice tracks, which is a huge part of the appeal for me. The Twin Snakes voice tracks sounded worse, and had lame script changes as well.
