zConnection: StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty Review

Connor Beaton writes: "Rain falls, grass grows, sun shines, and Blizzard finally release StarCraft II. Hell, it’s about time. If you had to make a list of gamers’ most anticipated upcoming releases until now, I’m sure Blizzard’s sci-fi strategy game would be hovering right up there with the culmination of the Half-Life trilogy and the now-dead Duke Nukem Forever project. Thousands of people still play the original online, despite the fact it’s now over twelve years old; if that alone doesn’t stand testament to its exalted reputation, consider the fact that midnight launch parties for the sequel were held all over Europe, and each and every one was flooded with fans eager to buy the game as soon as possible." (PC, Starcraft II, StarCraft II: Wings of LIberty) 94/100
