Top 5 Criminally Overlooked Wii Games

In today's crowded market many games are bound to be overlooked and sometimes even forgotten but on the Nintendo Wii it is becoming an epidemic. So many amazing third party games get released on the system and sadly people just seem to ignore them. So, are you guilty of overlooking some amazing Wii titles or does your record remain clean? Find out inside.. (Dead Space Extraction, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, okami, Red Steel 2, Wii, Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure)

This could be a good piece if the first game listed wasn't completely wrong. Ubisoft said it met their expectations and have made no other comments on it, saying it's a disappointment is a fabrication.

i still have Okami
for my PS2 so there would be no point in buying it for the wii. as for the others i'll get the Dead Space game with DS2 when it drops.

i'm quite surprised at RS2 numbers considering part 1 did over a million. as

It is an opinion piece and selling around 250,000 units, when compared to the originals 1.5 million is a disappointment, no matter what Ubisoft's damage control says.

VGcharts was the source for sales, that doesn't add credibility especially considering Ubi's expectations for the title was 500K which they said it reached so until they give some indication as to real numbers then we're safer to assume it sold what they expected.

...and it's not damage control, CEO's don't damage control to their shareholders.. you know because lying about losing money to the people who employ you isn't the greatest of ideas.

tl;dr I'll take the word of Ubisoft's CEO to his shareholders over someone who cites VGchartz.

@V: Well Red Steel 2 is the only one I disagree with really and I think I would have put Little King's Story there instead.

Fair enough, although I still believe the article is an opinion piece and the numbers are there for those who care about numbers. Still I agree with the games on the list.

Funny, my brother is playing Little King's Story right now. It really is one of the best gems on the Wii, pity Cing went out of business.

For those that haven't heard of it, think a more complicated and harder version of Pikmin and you've pretty much nailed it.

I agree, most of those games are pretty fantastic (Minus Dead Space Extraction, as I haven't played it and will be waiting for the PS3 version now)

But definitely Okami and Muramasa. I loved the artwork in both of them and I really couldn't say no to Muramasa after Odin Sphere.

Every console got underrated/hidden gem games, you just need to look for them and not only play games with hype/high scores. But be careful as the Wii have 80% of shovelware.

Muramasa is an amazing game that everyone should play and Zack & Wiki still gets no love. It was a fantastic puzzle adventure game that really made you use your head.

I actually think Endless Ocean is pretty good. (Haha, not exactly the most hardcore game, but I did enjoy it).

(I did love Everblue and Everblue 2 on PS2 right enough, so maye that explains a little).

List is missing a certain raddest game on the entire system that came out in June and could not even outsell Naughty Bear.
