How would we be able to see the 3D from the footage? O_o

Specifically the lighting? Anyone else noticing teh change. I play PR often, the lighting looks a bit more realistic..

Might be the ambient occlusion? Thats keeping it more grounded.(no pun intended). The car paint looks good too..

Particles & Atmosphere is great too.. I don't know how they do it, but the light reacts correctly in the dust, like in Gran Turismo.

Ooo, and headlights.

Finally, just like in Resistance 2, they should implement this in every game for co-op trophy opportunities.

**Thanks for the kind words! With 4 player split-screen this time around you can play both offline and online. Importantly players (providing they have a user account or PSN ID) will also be able to save their progress, track statistics and unlock rewards as they play.

... and found my jaw dropping slowly IN JOY.

The debris, the smoke, and bystanding zombies... all swing by THROUGH you in 3D, giving this illusion of realism that even the 3D movies fail to provide. At least for the first 5 minutes or so, you can't even focus on the game itself because your mind is constantly screaming 'holy shit!.... holy shit!!'

3D truly is underrated, and until people actually see VIDEOGAMES in 3D, they won't understand exactly what it is that 3D offers them.

It's like HDTV; people used to claim that 480p was more than enough, and that videogames actually looked better on SDTVs. But we all know what kind of load of bull that was.

Take that leap, and multiply it by five, and there you have the HD-to-3D jump.

The last time I was this excited about new "technology" was when Wing Commander first came out and objects flew around in space in "3D". Yeah, that was 20 years ago. And you needed to plunk down $2,000 on a new 486DX with a VGA (640x480 w/ 256 colors). So it's eerily similar to what we're going through right now.

Why is that chick playing like that? Unless this game supports sixaxis for that extra tilt then why is she doing that? Sorry, I grew up on people doing that and it just really annoys the hell out of me when I see people moving their controllers like it's actually doing something.

Maybe it helps with her own personal immersion.
