What Problem With Games Journalism? Part 2

Part 2 of this series discusses Jim Sterling, Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw, what "journalism" actually means anymore, and whether it's even an appropriate word to describe what the video game media produces. (Industry)

sterling should be writing for cracked then, not a "respectable" site like destructoid.

Who said that Destructoid is respectable? Being popular doesn't make them journalists. You assume that they get the access they get because anyone thinks they're a respectable media establishment.

Wrong. They get access because they're outrageous, and that's what draws in the page hits. Read the article, man.
