I think what they wanted to do is put clank on the cover to show that clank is going to have a larger part in this game than the last game. They're doing it to please the hardcore audience. I am getting a PS3 for this game. its gonna be so cool!

This game will sell pretty well, as long as sony puts the demos out on store retail PS3 kiosk, I can just imagine the kids and probably some grown ups watching some guys play this game on that nice bravia.
Need the demo NOW! I hope they give us that demo soon. I have full faith in Insomniac games because I know they will give us a high quality, true next gen experience with R&C.
Is this the best looking ps3 game or what ? well done insomniac . |was never into ratchet ...always preferred naughty dogs platformer....but now, since ND has a more realistic action platformer on their hands , i guess ratchet and clank fills up the post pretty nicely as best platformer on sony's console ....i ll be getting this from day one :D
This game could sell really well I don't see any other game like it maybe Mario Galaxy but that's for Wii. Microsoft doesn't have anything to compete within the platforming genre.
The game itself looks amazing and some many vivid colors it's like a Disney Pixar movie almost.
A lot of kids (10 to 15) may end up convincing their parents to buy the PS3 because of this and it looks so innocent on the outside but inside it has a lot of menacing weapons that make it very cool to play.
Rachet series has always had a good balance between stylish visuals for for kids and refined gameplay for adults.

The boxart however wasn't anything special. Does the job I guess.
The new box art looks very different compared to the previous ratchet box art covers,it focuses far less on the weapons.

This is the second game Insomniac has worked on for ps3 so really excited to see what they've done, it looks brilliant so far.
