Shenmue III. Jet Grind Radio, ChuChu Rocket for Xbox 360 at TGS?

Shenmue. Either you loved it for it's engrossing story and memorable characters, or you hated it for it's tedious and boring gameplay. It goes without saying that the Shenmue series has generated one of the most loyal underground followings of any game franchise since Bad Dudes. Regardless, ever since it was announced all those moons ago that Shenmue III would NOT be coming to the Xbox, but will be released for Xbox 360. Fans have been clammering to get their paws on the next chapter of this epic story.

Odion3949d ago

it prob is, frankly i hope it is just because Skies of Arcadia 2 is coming out for the Wii and Skies is my favorite RGP of all time

Azures3949d ago

A pox on SEGA for all time if it releases just for the Wii. This better not be for real.

cityofgod3948d ago

@ odion, agreed skies of arcadia is my fav rpg of all time, i enjoyed it more than any final fantasy or zelda, ha im prolly gonna get murdered by rabid fanboys for saying that. I hope a sequel would be made for 360 or ps3 as i think the wii would useless any potential that would have went into the sequel.

Love driving the forklift to earn money in Shenmue.

Still waiting for other games from TGS MS will focuse on TGS more than E3 thats my take on it. Ninja Gaiden 2 please.

Azures3949d ago

Team Ninja kinda fell in love with the ps3, better hope you guys can at least enjoy the 2nd one if its ever made ;)

^ Phail.

Itigaki said just yesterday his favourite Consoles were, wait for it, the Xbox 360 and NDS. Way to ignore an interveiw just hours before you make a retarded comment.

360 fan? They probably pelt him with stuff as he walks down the street over there.

Can't see every piece of news that flies through these fanboy infested doors.

This is from a recent Game Informer interview:
GI: Are you planning on making a big splash at TGS?

Kim: I don’t know. I don’t know about any third-party announcements that are being lined up there. I wouldn’t know right now, anyway.

GI: I meant first party.

Kim: No, not really. For us, again, I think you’re going to see the same messaging that we have at E3, which for us in Japan is about bringing our other content, our Western content, to Japan. Lost Odyssey has to be the big splash. Showing that it’s real, getting Sakaguchi-san up there—in the same way we did with Blue Dragon last year. He’s going to get up there and say, “Hey, this is my next masterpiece, I hope you like it.”

So it looks like E3 was their big show, and now they'll just focus on delivering on the blockbuster lineup they announced for 07 and deal with 08 next year.

Granted, things might have changed since GTA got delayed, but that shouldn't hurt their first party sales, plus, ya know, Halo. Still, if Mass Effect or something slips, I'm curious as to whether their lineup can handle another no-show.

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games is not a ds game

Sonic the RPG (Xbox 360, PS3) wait so bioware making the ds game just disappears?

Looks too good to be true. Where there's smoke, there's fire.
