I sure hope it's not $70 myself... though Reggie stated that it would be a bit more expensive... :(

You gotta wonder if the grandmas and alpha moms are willing to pay that much....

I know what you're saying, but what exactly is an "alpha mom"? Haha, I've never heard that before.

But definitely, Nintendo is going for the cheaper gaming experience, this is bit of a step away from cheap even though it includes all of the necessary equipment. This game is geared towards casual gamers, trying to get more people into the Wii craze, so don't you think $70 would be a bit too much for just one piece of software and the peripheral? I kinda think so...

Alpha moms are the new generation of moms that play video games I believe. It's a phrase thats thrown around quite a lot on the 1up yours podcasts.

First off, I hate JOGA + I had to take a joga class during the school year. SO, this [email protected]# is going to be too expensive for a friking joga game + I don't have a friking WII.

WIIFANS enjoin. I'll be 2 busy playing WARHAWK, HS, UNCHARTED, HAZE, UT3, n HALO3.

Everyone else will be playing METROID PRIME 3, SUPER MARIO GALAXY, BATTALION WARS 2 n SUPER SMASH BROS BRAWL.

ChickeyCantor3702d ago

o yaaaaaaaaaai another one!
lets say ill be playing : THIS AND THAT AND THOSEEEE.
forgetting that Wii-fit isnt the only software for Wii?

@unsunghero28
dont bother he wont understand anyway

Wells it seems that while the Wii is cheap Nintendo will exploit the gamer thru peripherals (a wheel? a Zapper? a mat? what is next? a f-ing dildo?)

>.>

and 70 seems a little steep for the "casual" market Nintendo aims

..that Miyamoto REALLY doesn't like drugs.

I mean, why else would he charge so much for this thing?

Tehehe..sorry..I couldn't resist =)

On topic, though, as much as I detest how much Ninty's going strictly for the casual/'new' market this gen, as long as WiiFit isn't the ONLY game to use the Balance Board, this purchase should be more than justified.
