The worst fighting game EVER (no...not Shaq Fu!)

Shaq Fu is commonly regarded as the worst fighting game of all time. Well no, it isn't. This really obscure Playstation game proves otherwise with a game so terrible, you could at least credit Shaq Fu's smooth(ish) animations. This is simply beyond bad. Review after the jump.

I'd have to guess and say Fighter Maker is not that bad. It seems you are able to create your own fighter, and whoever made this video chose the most ludicrous moves and turned the speed up so it glitched. I've seen other videos of Fighter Maker that make it look OK.

He did not turn the speed up. Just the telaporting guy had no frames in his attacks, I actually own Fighter Maker 2. And it can be fun if you wish to spend hours upon hours trying to get the guy to move right.

But that was a showcase of two busted characters. I had a light punch with 1 frame that was a one hit kill...

Actually this review is really bad. Lots of bashing and "wanna be funny" sentences with little information.

Even though I accidently 'disagree'd your post, I highly agree with you. It may not be hot news but it falls within guidelines and makes a debate for the worst fighting game ever, which I'm sure many have an opinion on and I gladly welcome that. I was just making people aware of this 'game' the source is irellevant providing the article is written at a fair level of quality, like you stated.

You also broke the headline rule. You need to use the one from the original title, which is simply "Killing Zone (PSX Review)" on your blog. Sensationalizing the headline to bring heat to your story or hits to your blog is an abuse of the system.

There are a lot of WP websites that contribute to N4G--they just don't have the name in their name.

And are we 'really' taking the stance that MOST of the people who post on N4G are industry professionals? Really? Do you really think that this is that kind of place? Did the contributor rules change with the new site or something? Because in the past the title had to match the article title and blog posts would have been reported out of the wazoo since this wasn't a forum to promote blogs. I guess the times are changing.

Anyway, there were quite a few really poor fighters on the first PlayStation. I suffered through some of them, but not this one.

But this certainly is not the worst fighter I've ever played.

I guess times are. If I have broken any rules I would request I be notified by a webmaster. I don't wish to stir up any trouble and in the past I've seen many 'blogs' on the front page. I believe indie writers should be able to have an outlet for their opinions instead of being overthrown by big companies and forced to use comment sections.
Going back to topic, I'm sure there are really bad fighting games but this one needs to be seen in action. There's no music and when you punch someone out the ring, it abruptly ends with 'RING OUT' which just looks hilarious. I was never aware of a few of the games mentioned on this thread which is good. I actually kinda enjoy playing pitfighter with a friend, yes its bad but the button mashing still generates a lol or two.

I though that Bushido Blade was one of the worst and not to mention overrated games ever. I cannot believe all those video games magazines gave it such a high score. There were only 6 characters to choose from and they were all rubbish
