I'd say the Move needs more than waggle too. I'd hate to keep playing ports of old games. I'm a fan of new and original games.

Shadow Flare2203d ago (Edited 2203d ago )

thats why move is not a wiimote. No waggle.

I'm imagining playing Metal Gear Rising with the wii, kinect and move. And move is the only one in my eyes where there would be zero waggle. It would be 1:1, perfectly accurate. Perfect swordplay, matching every move you make 1:1. Thats why its the best of the 3. And thats why when it comes to hardcore games, move is the only one of the three that wouldn't detract from a normal joypad experience, but add to the immersion immensely.

Johnny_Bravo2203d ago (Edited 2203d ago )

1:1 you say?

http://www.youtube.com/watc...

1:35 you see what happens there?

Oh, wait a few more seconds and you will see him swing.....and nothing happens. 1:1 my ass, Sony has you boys brainwashed.

EDIT: Are PS3 fans hyping up a product that was promised 1:1? Yup, at least on N4G you are.

I never said I was for Kinect, or even defending it. Just don't post BS like 1:1 when its clearly not.

Imperator2203d ago

So we PS3 fans are the ones hyping up a product that is the complete opposite of what was promised and is obviously an attempt at abandoning the entire fanbase? I don't think we're the ones who are brainwashed.

Seijoru2203d ago

@Bravo, the lag in the golf demo was from the software. No lag has been shown in SOCOM4 and many other move supported games. It has already been tested to have 22ms response time.

NecrumSlavery2203d ago

Watch this months Qore. The Move is insane, and I assure you it's 1:1.

MariaHelFutura2203d ago (Edited 2203d ago )

Awww, Someone definitely missed their Yoga class today.

Are you stalking me? This might cheer you up. BTW, I`m a woman and my name is Hel.
http://img205.imageshack.us... EDIT (from my ps3 btw) You want me to say something intelligent? Ok. You are an insanely stupid and you prove that by typing. There you go. LOL. XD XD XD.

Shadow Flare2203d ago (Edited 2203d ago )

Wow johnny bravo, this looks 1:1 to me...

http://www.youtube.com/watc...

http://www.youtube.com/watc...

So yeah, it does 1:1

-------------
-edit-

johnny bravo, if the move controller has shown at ANY point (which it has) that it can demonstrate 1:1 accuracy, then the move controller is capable of 1:1 accuracy. End of.

You can find 1 video with lag and then say ALL move games have lag if you want. But heres the truth: them move controller HAS demonstrated 1:1 accuracy, so its capable of 1:1 accuracy, END OF. Kinetc has never shown 1:1 accuracy, and any rare lag that Move does display can be put down to "its an unfinished product"

whothedog2203d ago

I think you guys are confusing 1:1 with lag. Even if it lags its about moving with your every movement and not pre-scripted movements. I believe.

ALFAxD_CENTAURO2203d ago (Edited 2203d ago )

You guys owned Johnny, lol.

Ah, just joined to Troll, few hours ago. It hurts for some people to know Move have 1:1, 22ms Lag with support of Body and Voice detection.

whothedog2203d ago (Edited 2203d ago )

@johnny

It's pointless to try and show you what 1:1 really means because your posting videos of lag.

It still does 1:1 it just has a slight LAG, 1:1 means it mimics the players movements exactly how they do it, and that video you showed me it did, just a slight lag.

So what ratio are you trying to claim the Move is anyways since you know so much about this product.

Dragun6192203d ago (Edited 2203d ago )

Both Playstation Move and Wii Motion Plus are capable of 1:1 precision. Why are you so upset?

As long as it delivers the the quick response with minimal lag then thats all you need. I don't think anyone will care if its off by a few milliseconds.

And there's a good reason to be hyped up for Move. It has a solid line up. Why would you care anyways about people that want to buy Move? As far as I'm concerned, Move is a very solid motion controller receiving positive responses from devs and press alike. If people want to buy it then I see no reason for them not to.

CHARLIEBROWNE2203d ago

I noticed the lag in your provided clip hopefully that will be remedied but again pause 2:05.

Boody-Bandit2203d ago

Those videos you linked are insane and the first time I saw them.
Thanks for posting them.

HolyOrangeCows2203d ago

You're a REALLY poor troll, Bravo.

TotalPS3Fanboy2203d ago (Edited 2203d ago )

Not sorry dude, but you owned yourself by showing that vidoe. The game have already been demostrated to have 1 to 1 motion. Just because you found a few seconds of video where the game glitches does not prove that it can't do 1 to 1 motion because in the rest of the Tiger Wood demostration, Move was already demostrated to be able to do 1 to 1 motion.

And not only that, many games (especially Sports Championship) have already proved that Move can do 1 to 1 motions.

You may think it's bullsh*t, and you're entitled to your own incorrect opinion, but the world have already played Move at E3, and the world knows that Move does has 1 to 1 motion. That is just the truth.

You can deny the truth all you want, but in the end, doing that will only hurt you more. In fact, it is the truth that will set you free.

How about: Nobody gives a crap.

Dragun6192203d ago

Why Did you mention Move in a Kinect only article?

And what exactly are you talking about ports?
So far the only port is Dead Space:Extraction and thats comes for free if we buy Dead Space 2, so I'm not complaining plus it has DS3 support.

Move also does have a bunch of new and original games.
Sorcery, Echochrome 2, Ape Escape Fury! Fury!, Heroes on The Move, Ruse, etc

On topic, Kinect does have some unique games such as Children of Eden and Dance Central, but its whole line up are aimed at the causal audience. Needs more hardcore games.

ALFAxD_CENTAURO2203d ago (Edited 2203d ago )

Mention Move when is not necessary.

Don't worry, this kind of persons will understand eventually with pure factual evidence, like always.

Johnny_Bravo2203d ago (Edited 2203d ago )

You are very ignorant sir. I was not the one who mentioned Move, your precious little fanboy MariaHelFutura and Shadow Flare did. Don't start pointing the finger, when you have no idea what you're talking about.

EDIT: Ahh I see you made a nice quick edit. Its okay, I understand its easy to point the finger at someone criticizing something, instead of the real cause of the action. Which was the trolls.

Caspel2203d ago

I am stating that all motion-based hardware need to be as far as removed as they can be from the Wii.

jneul2203d ago

weird since when was socom4, kz3 and hustle kings classified as waggle, you actually have to use the controller as you would have to use things in real life, if you try to waggle move punishes you have you not read any of the recent reviews for the games like hustle kings, they even had to turn the sensitivity down due to it being too precise....

strickers2203d ago

Echochrome 2?
The sports games are 1:1,not waggle.
You don't seem to understand the difference between waggle and 1:1.

lavachoke2203d ago

looks like kinect is focussing on the casual market just like wii did. the price is kinda steep too. im not impressed so far.

MariaHelFutura2203d ago

Of course it does, it can do invisible triggers. /s

TheTeam062203d ago

It looks kinda slow for waggle. If you were to move your arms too fast in something like Ricochet, the avatar would go crazy. You basically have to do slow movements for most Kinect games, unless it's something that doesn't really do 1:1 like the track game in Kinect Sports where you just run in place.

cnagel472203d ago

havent been impressed from what ive seen from kinect yet. gonna need great interaction with a marquee title to really get it going. i know its set to be in Fable 3 so maybe that will be it
