A podcast on Dutch site Bashers sent to SPOnG by a reader shows that Paul Naber, Director Home & Entertainment Division at Microsoft Netherlands does not have a high opinion of Sony's support of Move.
Yeah thats why they are patching up their old titles to support Move "They have a folder containing five titles and a release date and thats (sic) it." mhmmmm http://www.neogaf.com/forum...
Isnt dat veird?
Discrete Austin Powers reference? (Goldmember maybe?) -------------- Anyway, at least Sony's patching older games and supporting new hardcore games for use with it. The same can't be said of Kinect.
ehh it looks like everyone works for MS is like this (troll) no wonder Greenberg is a troll too just like this guy
Just by looking at "Sorcery" alone I think Sony is really serious. It's the best looking motion control game in my eyes!
No Sony definitely cares about Move, I don't though.
Ms didn't give a sh*t about Kin. oh look what i did there!
MS doesnt give a shit about hardcore gamers!
I think you're required to take a 6-week course on trolling once you're hired by Microsoft. It's a running theme with these guys. Make sure someone who runs a blog or better is around, channel your inner 12-year old, start talking about Sony.
@Conloles What... you care about that? I mean PS3 owners don't care about the Economic situation of Sony Corp, why, suddenly, you care about that? O-T Quote from NeoGaf post, bring to you by Marius: "Sports Champions™, September 2010 Eye Pet™, September 2010 Kung Fu Rider™, September 2010 Start the Party! ™, September 2010 echochrome™ 2 (PSN), September 2010 Tumble (PSN), September 2010 Hustle Kings, October 2010 PAIN (PSN), October 2010 TV Superstars™, October 2010 The Fight: Lights Out™, October 2010 The Shoot™, October 2010 High Velocity Bowling (PSN) October 2010 Heavy Rain®, October 2010 Sly Collection, November 2010 SingStar® Dance, November 2010 LittleBigPlanet™ 2, November 2010 Beat Sketcher (PSN), Fall 2010 SOCOM 4, Fall 2010 Tiger Woods PGA TOUR® 11 (Electronic Arts), September 2010 Toy Story 3: The Video Game (Disney Interactive Studios), September 2010 The Lord of the Rings: Aragorn's Quest (WB Games Inc.), September 2010 Brunswick Pro Bowling (Crave), September 2010 Resident Evil®5 Gold Edition (Capcom), September 2010 Time Crisis: Razing Storm (Bandai Namco), September 2010 NBA® 2K11 (2K Sports), October 2010 John Daly's ProStroke Golf (OG International), Fall 2010 Racquet Sports (Ubisoft), Fall 2010 R.U.S.E. I think he's just bitter cuz they lost the World Cup.
I actually tried to think about it when I read the title but I couldn't find any proof of Sony not giving a sh*t about move And yea sorcery, socom, & killzone are just 3 games that shat in this article
@ sikbeta- no hes right, sony dosent give a crap about losing money, they will lose money to give us the best games, best hardware and best gaming experiences ever, history has proven this and when it comes to sony: fans first- profit second. they will risk it for us, they will take ridiculous chances for us, sony is all about quality and giving the consumers the best for their money. THATS why i love and support sony, we are not only loyal to them, they are loyal to us. @ conloles- thanks for bringing that up bro you are 100% correct.
God you Englishmen/Americans have the wrong idea when it comes to dutch accents. HHAHAHA. Im surprised MS PR never really think when they speak.
Is that what the wizard game, shown at Sony E3, is called? That game looks sick! I was very impressed with it, and Move. I just can't see playing a game like Killzone 3 with it, lol.
Between this douchebag, and Greenberg, I think they've got the market on moronic bosses cornered. They are so desperate to beat Sony they act like elementary school children. It's sad and pathetic. No wonder this generation of gamers is so full of fanboys with guys like this around. They don't just fuel the fire, they bring a nuclear bomb.
If they don't give a sh*t about it, I can't wait to see what they do when they start caring! @blumatt - If there's anything Austin Powers' father hates in this world, it's the Dutch! And this is probably why! hehehe EDIT2 - hahaha, good movie! My favorite part is the greeting with the Mole.
lol "I love goooold, the smell of it, the taste of it, the teeexxxture. I love gold so much I even lost my genitalia in an unfortunate shhmmelting accident..." lmao I knew that's what he was referencing. Yeah, sounds like Goldmember has a reason to hate the Dutch. haha j/k Edit: "Moooolllleeee! Molie Molie Molie Mooooolee!!" haha
what you say is true, but we all know the biggest troll is Kevin Butler.. Pisses me off how he promotes console wars.
one is a comedian that acts in commercials the other is an executive at one of the biggest companies in the world.
Now that's rich... Having a hard time differentiating reality from fiction, aren't you?
@thebudge I wonder if Nintendo was also onto it. I mean this is just advertisement for Nintendo as well. To bad they dont these things anymore =(.
Kevin butler a troll under sony paycheck. This troll under microsoft paycheck. Dont see the difference but because kevin butler is fictional its all okey to make fun of competition. Bring back the sonic vs mario wars. Kevin butler is allowed to make fun of kinect and wii but when nintendo makes fun of sony 3D sony feels butthurt.
If you hate Kevin Butler you're just an idiot with no sense of humor.
using the term 'comedian' awfully loosely aren't we? i was under the impression comedians were funny. i do agree though, you can't really call a terrible, unfunny actor a troll...he's just doing his job. really enjoyed this little read. it gives you a little glimpse into how much effort and control goes into the pr and marketing side of gaming. makes you wonder though...how many opinions being expressed by the end user are their own, and not just a derivative of the PR they ingest on a regular basis. sony are very good at spin...no doubt about that.
And that list doesn't include Dead Space: Extraction for free with Dead Space 2 as well, which will support Move.
That article must have hit many nerves. TRIFECTA!
& microsoft don't give a sh*t about their fans
They don't give a shit??? I think they're confusing MS corporate philosophy with Sony's.
That just wasted 3 mins of my life *think i might make sum beans on toast (with an fried egg)*
Dude's lucky he's a Dutch exec, most countries look down upon you for smoking drugs at work.
ZING! no seriously bubs^ 4 da laugh.
Lol, well said/funny? Crap, which bubble do i give? IM CONFUSED!!!
MS Doesnt give a eff about exclusive games!!!! WHERE THEY AT!
He's obviously referring to the marketing and media budgets. MS loves wasting more time and $$ on that than the actual products.
...Coca Cola =)
way of doing things: http://www.youtube.com/watc...
crackdown 1.5,, i mean 2, that counts right
MS doesn't give a shit about showing Kinect working. Anyone see that Macy's vid? nuff said.
lol i know, sad tbh, kinect is for casuals and they cant even have the right instructors
if it is for casual gamers it shouldn't really need the "right instructors" should it? it should be easy enough to pick up and play. kinect is just a poorly made product like everything else ms has put out.
Don't say anything bad about Kinect. You'll lose another bubble. I lost one yesterday for showing a craigslist add and telling real things that happen in the real world. @redlogic It made top of the page as an article (right .. a news article .. *sight* )
What vid? can you link it?
This is the article http://n4g.com/news/565200/... The first video shows a dude playing bowling but his mii-too character doesn't want to throw the bowl The second one, a dude try to make his mii-too character run in some kinect-mii-too-athletics game, but even if tried to lift up his legs more the mii-too character doesn't make any movement, kind of funny, the guy kind of wanted to make like big footsteps really awkwardly lol And the third one, is from the guys that posted those videos in the site, complaining about an awkward showcase, talking about the employee supervising the event, saying that in the second video the camera was [pointing at the floor], but IF that's true, how the first dude could at least play the bowling game? I don't think anyone change the camera position intentionally when there is a dude supervising the event, even if he didn't care about, I'm sure he didn't let anyone touch the camera....
"Everything I said I said out of personal conviction and not as Xbox boss. My PR lady kill me when she hears what I have said." hmm...but he didn't have to curse about sony`s actions .
He probably lights Spliffs with a 360, which is pretty gangsta.
I did that last weekend :)
i did that last night with water proof matches...yeah i lost my lighter!! Camping gear and fast thinking FTW!!
worst. thing. ever. -______________- especially when your about to start some KZ2 MP marathon.
Lighter, squares (optional), snacks, dank and a glass BONNNG! My kit for marathon gaming. EDIT squares = slang for cigarettes
They have showed working demos and games for everyone, clearly Sony gives a shit.
i don't know which press conference this guy was watching but sony's didn't have pet tigers and lame dance routines
M$ don't give a shit about there core audience hence them going all casual.
You rarely hear someone so confidently talk out of their ass. Kudos Dutch Microsoft exec.
Aaron Greenberg, anyone?
I get the feeling that AG knows when he's talking out of his ass. He's just playing the game. This guy sounds like really believes what he is saying. He's selling it way better than AG.
Aaron Greenburg is like a used car salesman. He'll sell shit to anyone, as long as he gets paid.
Keep it real Mr un-biased : (
He handled this interview really professionally. /s
sony has made lots of their old games work with move, they have some of their big upcoming games supporting move and have move exclusive games so they have lots for casual and hardcore fans. what has ms done to show they care about kinect? sometimes i can't belive ms is as big of a company as they are with so many idiots working there.
serious as a serious gamer who enjoys good games...how can kinect even compare to the Move...you can see them (sony) trying to at least take care of the hardcore why as MS completely ignored its fanbase and tried to get a new fanbase...truth is they should at least think about people who have a xbox already and work from there
Sorcery begs to differ
Funny. I've been thinking the same with Kinect as it's become more and more evident that MS haven't got a freaking clue what to do with it, now that about a quarter of the original intention of the product has been made.
Ms execs need Powerthirst so they can win at everything http://www.youtube.com/watc...
from wat ive seen Sony gives for about Move than MS is giving about kinect. from wat ive seen from all the demo of kinect, not even there own product specialists know how to use there product. Unlike Sony. which is giving use Hardcore games and casual games at lauch. kinect gives us casual games and launch with the "promise" of hardcore in the future.
Is he the Dutch Aaron Greenburg?
