B4HD's Peter Rambo writes: I don’t think I’ve ever been happier to find out I’ve been tricked than a few days after I thought I’d finished Castlevania: Symphony of the Night for the first time.
My brother and I didn’t buy many video games because neither of us had much of an allowance. I was mostly a PC gamer, so I spent my money on shareware discs, looking for something to beg for when my birthday and Christmas came along. My brother preferred consoles, and he spent his share on rentals.
But on the recommendation of a friend, I went with my brother to Blockbuster some day in 1997 to pick up a new Castlevania game called Symphony of the Night.
