Blizzard has just announced that StarCraft II will receive a midnight launch event on the night of July 26th in London, Berlin, Paris, Stockholm, Moscow and Brisbane.
WOO can not wait to go ^_^
For ONCE Australia gets a video game treat :)
already have the expensive edition on pre order, but i will check out the London midnight opening.
Wasn't expecting this, great idea!
Yeah, I hope there's something at my place too!
The end is in sight
Yep, it's been a long 3 and a half years.
Old one, but: Hell, it's about time!
it gets closer!
meh think I'll just order it online
Already done :) But if you have preordered it, you can get it at midnight :)
I don't get these midnight openings..
these midnight openings dont get you...
lol, thats true. I see no use in going out at night to buy a game. I do like the fact that fans get to meet the devs :D
Who the heck is Rob McNaughton? o.O
There will be a few names we won't recognise, as they are likely saving some of the big names for US releases.
Really great news! Pity I am not in Brisbane lol I would have liked to have gone. But yea completely unexpected.
Atleast I will get to see midnight launch up in central QLD even if not see one of the big guys :)
Yeah, sounds marvellous!
for sure I will be at the release of this thing (took the 27th off work :P... IT SHOULD BE A PUBLIC HOLIDAY! XD)
Chris Sigaty in Stockholm? Awesome! :)
but it's already tomorrow in Australia....
lol a 10 year wait of "when it's done" then they get hasty and have a midnight launch, no thanks, i'll get it when a crack is released to bypass the crappy activation. I got burned by that with Sacred 2...no working crack released and got bitten by DRM...the only solution is to buy the expansion which does have a crack...which sucks but if it's between a non playable game and that...
I hear you on Sacred 2. Too bad the expansion wasn't released for the NA version.
I'll be in bed :p
