"The chart above shows the sales ranks for Red Dead Redemption on the PS3 and the Xbox 360, with data captured between June 1, 2010 through June 30, 2010.", says CoffeewithGames.

does everybody think both versions will be in the "Top 10" NPD, or just the "Top 20" for both of them?

I definitely think the Xbox 360 version should be "Top 10" again, not sure how close the PS3 version will be.

hardcorez2659d ago

I saw you noted it in the article, with that one week missing, I still think both will be Top 10.

CoffeewithChess2659d ago

the week you mention was the week of E3.
I guess with June not really having any big releases, both versions do have a good chance at being in the Top 10 again.

So Red Dead Redemption's doing well, right? Because that chart doesn't make any sense to me.

CoffeewithChess2658d ago

the chart shows the sales ranks for Red Dead Redemption different days in June, in Amazon.com's video ranking.
The higher on the chart, the better the ranking.

I was never good with charts, until I started using a program to make them.

Now I understand it. Thanks for clearing that up.

It really is a good game. Even the glitches are fun for me.

Spenok2658d ago

Lol yea its doing very well, with over 5mil sales combined.

It's definetaly not a bad port like Bayoneta on the PS3, but if you have both consoles I don't Know why you would buy this game on the Playstation.

Boody-Bandit2658d ago

Personally I don't understand comments such as yours. I own both consoles and I have played roughly 30 multiplatform titles on both consoles. "Most" multiplatform titles are nearly identical in every way. As long as the are no game play performance issues why would it matter which console you choose it for? I spread the love around when I don't get it for both. If it's an online game I pick up the version the majority of my friends get. If it's a half and half thing I pick up both versions.

because the playstation has free online gaming?

the graphical differences are small...it's a great looking game..

so hmmm

pay to go online...or do it for free?..

most my friends bought this game for their ps3 anyways..and i usually go with the majority with these type of games/multiplayer

360Defender2658d ago

Wow because that $3 a month is really kicking your ass huh? I think it's hilarious when people make your lame argument.

RXL2658d ago

video games are already 60 dollars..

im sorry young man, but unlike you i have bills to pay...

any money saved is more money in my pocket..

[email protected] being obvious you're a child..smh

RacingLightning012658d ago

Why bother paying for somthing you can get free?
Because it's worth it.
I understand getting the game on the system your friends have, but complaining "it costs money" is rubish.

RXL2658d ago

ALL you get (or what id be looking for really)..is the ability to play with others...why would i pay for that when i can do it for free on the ps3?..

im not a troll..i love my 360...i love the exclusives it has and the great live games like Braid, Castle Crashers and Limbo..The Adventures of P.T WinterBottom..etc etc..too many to name..

but to pay an extra amount of money for the ability to play with my friends is retarded..

as far as multiplat games go..if it's a single player experience..i buy it on my 360..if it's a multiplayer..i go with the ps3..simple..

im a fan of gaming..

and comparing Live to Cable is ridiculous...utterly and profoundly.
