“The Decision” is now on the Gaming Industry!

"The Summer of 2010 will not just transcend the sports world, the sports gaming world will also forever be changed due to Lebron’s decisions. EA and 2K will have an interesting dilemma on there hand as to how to create Miami, do they make them the powerhouse that some people believe they have now become, or do they make them out to be another great team in the East like others believe they now are. One thing is for sure, Miami has the most talent in the NBA now, and there is no debating that, they have 3 of the top 10 players in the league. How will that translate on the court, they put aside egos, and a little bit of money (they will still be paid rather handsomely) to join forces on South Beach, but will it mesh on the court."

The lakers will win it, but the heat need to at least be in the top 4 teams in the east (probably Orlando, Bulls, Heat, Celtics)

Well they can't play games 3 on 3. Lets see them fill out the rest of the roster...

Redlogic2718d ago

they are a shoulder injury away from becoming a two man team. Its not hard to imagine Wade going down with an injury. I don't want that to happen, but ya never know. I'm actually looking forward to basketball season, wit my Knicks making some moves and that means 2k11 is going to be around the corner.

I second the nick name, but maybe "King Decision" or "James D"

I just want sportscenter to stop obsessing over him and get off the guys d#@$ already...

Myze2718d ago

If it were in October or November, they wouldn't spend this much time on it. Sportscenter's audience doesn't care very much about the World Cup (not that spending days talking about one game is any better). Baseball is really the only big thing available to talk about. There is no NFL to fill up an entire sportscenter like there is in late fall/winter.

Also, regardless of what you think, Lebron James was probably the biggest free-agent in any sport, maybe ever. Sportscenter only spends this much time on it because that's what most people want to hear about. However, now that he's made his decision, hopefully they can at least start dwindling down on the discussion.

I think that the media, and LeBron, turned this into the biggest free-agent signing in any sport ever. There was a time when Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Charles Barkley, AROD, Joe Montana, and even the great one Wayne Gretzgy were all free agents. So, history DOES provide some perspective. That being said, SportsCenter really is obligated by it's very nature to cover this "event" to it's finality...which I hope is sooner rather than later.

Evans and Cousins all the way!!!
