No more Sonic, says series creator

Yuji Naka, former head of Sega’s Sonic Team and creator of Sonic the Hedgehog, doesn’t want to make a new Sonic title. “Right now, I want to create new things. Even if I had the opportunity to create some kind of new Sonic game, I think that’s best kept within Sega,” explained Naka in an interview with Siliconera.

Just give it to nintendo (Shigeru Miyamoto) they know how resurrect old franchises and keeping them relevent.

Dude you know what i mean , just look at mario and zelda they are on every nintendo console or handheld , those games are 20 or 25 years old and they are still succesfull .
After the first sonic games on the megadrive It all went downhill for sonic , all those that were released later on other consoles from sega or the others ones ( ps2 , gc , xbox , wii , 360 , ps3 , ds , psp ) suckt big time .
Sega failed to keep sonic relevent like nintendo did with mario .

Still, sonic colours looks to be the definitive next gen Sonic title we have all been waiting for, and looks freaking sweet both graphically and playability wise. Too bad its not on PSN...

Your right i just checked some gameplay videos for sonic colors it does look nice ,
