He also came some way towards indicating a new, more mobile and more social direction for Xbox Live.

Get your FACTS straight.

They've both got more money than any of us will probably ever see, so it's pretty stupid to argue over it.

could be interesting...

Meus Renaissance3672d ago (Edited 3672d ago )

Like what Phil Harrison showed at E3? Microsoft have been touting this Live Anywhere for a long time now and we haven't really seen it.

I remember them showing editing Forza 2 cars on the PC and taking that to the 360 etc. We've seen nothing of this, whereas Sony have leaped over and already implemented this via Home.

FordGTGuy3672d ago

The Forza Motorsport Live Anywhere features weren't planned to be in Forza Motorsport 2 and Turn 10 said that after their presentations that this is a Forza Motorsport 3 or 4 feature. Microsoft's Live Anywhere plan is huge and involves the collaboration of Cell Phone, Xbox, and Computer all in one to be full functional. It will take some time to get it up are running but it will be awesome when they do.

ReBurn3672d ago

Um, Meus? Home isn't even available. Sony hasn't implemented anything yet. Nothing is currently available to mass market consumers via Home.

Meus Renaissance3671d ago (Edited 3671d ago )

The fact that Home isn't available to the public at the moment (2 months left) does not diminish the fact that Sony have already implemented, and crucially shown this to an audience, compatibility with a Cell phone and their Home service via different methods, that will be ready when Home becomes available.

There is a time schedule, something we don't see from Microsoft.

The mere fact is that Sony have done this one year after Microsoft announced it, leap-frogging them in that respect. In fact, with the open "network of PSN in comparison to Xbox Live - developers like Epic can readily provide user-created content on a PC-scale on Sony's platform and can't dream of that yet on Live.

All this after these things were promised by Microsoft a very long time ago.

This doesn't mean we will never see it, but it certainly gives the advantage and leash to Sony in this regard. Microsoft can talk the talk but can they walk the walk?

more like ignorance, [since i can't read tone] i'm interpreting it as such.

SimmoUK3672d ago

This guy must be on cloud nine with all his money or something, he thinks Sony's just in videogames when they do TV's, mobile phones, movie studios and are supporting Blu-Ray... Is he one sandwich short of a picknick nowadays?

RonDeMuerte3672d ago

Yeah I can't believe it....he's supposed to be one of the smartest people on Earth.....yet.....he doesn't know that much about his competitors.....hehe that's great....
