So is wearing glasses inside to this guy.

AngryFork3083d ago

Bubbles for the comment and your avatar. I recently watched Metropolis (new version with more footage) and everyone in the theater laughed when she did the wink thing. It was so creepy/weird.

Conloles3083d ago

This guy has such an ego - and its not a good one

MariaHelFutura3083d ago (Edited 3083d ago )

@angry fork

Metropolis is the most important movie ever made IMO., so thank you and I hope you enjoyed it.

I`m a woman and Thank you, you have no idea.

Parapraxis3083d ago

LOL, MariaHelFutura I'm pretty sure conloles was referring to Kudo (if that really is his name)

TotalPS3Fanboy3083d ago (Edited 3083d ago )

"Why does this man wear sunglasses all the time?"

And the answer is medical. A condition where he has to wear glasses so that he can actually see the shit he spiel out.

For example: "Rumble is rudimentary"

in other word

"Rumble is so last gen"

Double Toasted3083d ago

You obviously don't know what the word *Rudimentary* means, nor do the people who agreed with you.

MariaHelFutura3083d ago (Edited 3083d ago )

being or involving basic facts or principles ; "the fundamental laws of the universe"; "a fundamental incompatibility between them"; "these rudimentary truths"; "underlying principles".

BYE3083d ago (Edited 3083d ago )

I have no idea why people disagree with Toasted.

NYPunkster3083d ago

Kick to the face bulletstorm style.

R2D23083d ago

The guy has some light sensitivity issue with his eyes.

He does not wear them because he thinks it coll to wear sun glasss at night.

Parapraxis3083d ago

Wearing sunglasses at night is totally coll!

Max Power3083d ago

Don't forget this classic line...

Christopher3083d ago

1. Tactile response is far from rudimentary. Nor is ignoring the importance of muscle memory in video games, something that isn't as easily captured in a controller-less environment.

2. Kudo has an eye issue that requires him to wear sunglasses indoors and outdoors.

Chubear3083d ago (Edited 3083d ago )

... he has an eye condition. Those glasses are not for "show". If you're going to make fun of him do it for something other than the glass... like "BAM!"

Elven63083d ago (Edited 3083d ago )

He actually suffers from a condition where his eyes are sensitive to light,

On topic: I see where Kudo is coming from what I still like rumble, it adds to the experience in a way I really can't describe very well. =/

JohnnyMann4203083d ago (Edited 3083d ago )

Def Jam: Icon

Probably the biggest pile of Shit I have ever played.

He was subsequently fired by EA afterwards.

Elven63083d ago

He also brought us Fight Night Round 3 which is one of the best boxing games created.

And he wasn't fired, all of EA Chicago (which he worked at before Microsoft) was let go and the studio shut down for cost cutting reasons by EA IIRC.

AssassinHD3083d ago

It has been stated before, but Kudo has a medical condition that makes his eyes abnormally sensitive to light. Making fun of him because of that condition makes you a complete jackass. I don't even care if this post gets reported for bad language or personal attacks. It needs to be said. You are a jackass.

SuperStrokey11233083d ago

ahahahah thats awesome, bubbles for you!

Blaze9293083d ago

The dude actually has a medical condition where his pupils are ultra sensitive - way to be a douchebag dude.

He makes a good point, with full body motion control it would be silly to have rumble unless you had a whole suit which rumbles. Just imagine you foot getting hit but the rumble was just in your palm, that would make the experience feel fake.

Pennywise3084d ago

SO.... Now rumble in the controller is just fake, so why have it?

When Sony released the sixaxis they messed up because there was no rumble, right? I know you were one of the complainers... But now... it is just fake.

I wish you had more bubbles so we can hear more of your hypocritical ways.

T9X693083d ago

I could say the same to you....and to myself.

36T3083d ago (Edited 3083d ago )

Pennywise. We all wish you would have an unlimited amount of bubbles. Your intelligence is mind blowing. You're the main reason i visit this site!

TheMART3083d ago

Pennywise doesn't understand the difference between a normal controller that has rumble taken away and full body control by a cam thats impossible to give rumble all over the body? Reading failure much?

"with full body motion control it would be silly to have rumble unless you had a whole suit which rumbles."

This is where you are reacting on, and that post is just... Dumb. Did the PSEyetoy have rumble?

moparful993083d ago

You are so one dimmensional, the fact that there is no controller is the issue. We undertand that you can't do rumble with a controllerless input, but the fact that kudo dismisses rumble as an umimportant feature in the temrs of immersion.. Just wait until you try to play a shooter with kinect and there is no rumble, you will feel disconnected from the experience... In real life you shoot a physical gun that has recoil that you can feel. You dont stand there pretending to hold and fire a weapon and people just die.. Wait and see, microsoft screwed the pooch with this one...

Biggest3083d ago

A shooter? With Kinect? I guess if you're going to dream you might as well do it big.

mastiffchild3083d ago

He makes NO points at all, frankly. the biggest issues I see with kinect(and with Move beforee they sorted it out) is the lack of any means to get round game worlds bigger than your room-without every single game(bar driving I suppose) being on effing rails. That's a WAY bigger concern to me than rumble(lack of) or lag(however bloody much)-also people understand action games and understand shooters and understand RPGs so why NONE of them? Why no answers? Why the scaling back from last year yet still the talk of "liberation" and possibilities"? Well , what are these possibilities because you're releasing NOTHING we want to have anything to do with and we don't see quite how you ever will!!

seriously, stop the PR babble and show us a proper effin game and I'll shut up. Even if it's sh1t. I'll be quiet if you promise me one "core" game and less BS, K?

Unicron3083d ago (Edited 3083d ago )

I have to agree. Neither of these motion control gimmicks, Move/Kinect, will impress me until I see them properly utilized and smartly implemented into a AAA caliber title such as Halo, Uncharted, etc.

Motion control gives you unlimited possibility! long as your character is stationary.

Inside_out3083d ago

@Omega...I agree in part Omega. In the scenario you mentioned it would " feel " odd BUT I believe the rumble feature is critical to gaming and why it was such a bone head move for Sony to try and bully the patent holders and go forward without it. One of the best and ingenious add ons ever in gaming.

When firing a gun, driving a car, controlling a Mech or creating suspence...etc...they all require a sense of being there and rumble does that. Full body motion control is here to stay but for a more hard core experience M$ will have to create add on devices, such as control chuks or a suit you wear to add to the experience. Once they do that, the sky will be the limit. It's all about software at the moment and full body motion control is in it's have to learn how to walk before you can run.

BTW...Sony is working on it's own Kinect-me-TOO device with cameras similar to Kinect. Watch the spin coming from Sony and it's fanboys soon. Pay to play is the greatest thing ever all of a sudden for Sony and it's

Biggest3083d ago

"BTW...Sony is working on it's own Kinect-me-TOO device with cameras similar to Kinect. Watch the spin coming from Sony and it's fanboys soon. Pay to play is the greatest thing ever all of a sudden for Sony and it's"

Did I ever mention how much I enjoy you, cez? If you keep projecting your pain onto PS3 users it might actually happen to them too. Well, if they buy a 360.

DigitalRaptor3083d ago (Edited 3083d ago )

Teehee. Can't tell if that's sarcasm, but pain? I feel sorry with people with opinions like Cez.

If Sony does the 'Kinect-me-TOO' we will just laugh because PS3 gamers will have the best of both worlds. Although most of us will realise that controllerless gaming has nowhere really to go, and not buy that crap.

Parapraxis3083d ago (Edited 3083d ago )

A whole suit which rumbles eh...
Did MS tell you something nobody else knows?
Seriously, when are they coming out, Holiday 2011?

@cez, "Sony is working on it's own Kinect-me-TOO device with cameras similar to Kinect."
Other way around kiddo, MS is working on an Eye-toy-too camera called Kinect and those cameras that Kinect is copying (PSeye & EyeToy) have been on the market since the PS2.

"The way we measure ‘lag’ is by putting people in front of the experience and measuring their thoughts. Either it feels good or it feels sloppy. It’s not how many milliseconds"

Oh, so that isn't lag? "A lag by any other name would lag the same."

Even Wii Rumbles doesn't it?

ActionBastard3083d ago

"It’s almost laughable the way people hold on to rumble as the holy grail of haptic feedback. We’ve gone so far past anything that can be done with rumble, or that kind of restrictive thing you have to hold. It’s been creatively liberating to work on this stuff."

Is hypocrite a hiring requirement at Microsoft?

krisprolls3083d ago

Yeah, MS PR say so many lies and bullshit they should work for the Iraqi Information Minister.

Handsome_Devil3083d ago

I would say they fit perfectly the in USA media demographics and ideas :P.

dhall19893083d ago

Oh right! They gave Sony hell when (Sony) hadnt settled that lawsuit and had to release a rumble free SIXAXIS. He is just spewing nonsense, Kinect is destined to fail. I'm not even just saying this to "flame" but seriously Microsoft has really screwed up this thing, it had a lot of potential.
