Activision: Blur was not a failure

"The audience was split three ways," Activision's Dan Amrich said in a blog post.

"Blur came out a week after Split/Second and the same day as ModNation Racers. I'm not sure what your budget looks like, but I can rarely afford to buy three games in eight days - nor do I have the time to play all of them at once anyway."

All 3 games... Blur, Split/Second and ModNation Racers sold poorly. Pretty bad timing releasing the 3 games all at the same time.

indeed, I loved Blur, but it took some time to get to that feeling.

Bizarre tried but they departed too far from what they know IMO. I was really looking forward to a new style of PGR from them, free of the IP. But instead they have gone backwards from PGR4. I think they should go back to their racing roots to that sim/arcade racing mix they nailed so well with metropolis and my favorite, PGR2

This isnt true.
Just check the Blur leaderboards theres only like 100,000 stats.
Many of which are fake accounts which were used to hack the legendary cars.
Acitivsion would always defend their games, even if they are clearly as broken as MW2.
I hate you activision, let the call of duty franchise go so we as gamers can play with fun and not frustration.

not a failure, just a disaster

Of course it's not a failure. They obviously have lots of profit from COD series!!

Activision can afford 5 more games that Suck & fail and they won't be losing anything. just fire the developers, cause they didn't make them any profit !!
