Cole has NOTHING on Ezio/Altair.

Parkour has style and rhythm, not simple climb, shimmy and jump.

Assasins Creed 2 is one of the most overated games. The game somehow graphically is worst than Assasins Creed 1

inception1235034d ago

not only do the graphics look worst but the acting is far worst too. ezio has the worst italian accent since mario. the combat is also lame you can just stand there hitting the counter button and kill everyone with one hit. the game is very repetitive and has almost no side missions. the ac franchise is the second worst open world franchise this gen with crackdown being the 1st worst. the only thing ac does that is good is have an original story an even that still doesn't match infamous' story.

mikeslemonade5034d ago

Yea and AC gets a free pass just because it takes place in the medieval realm. If you have knights, pirates, zombies, ninjas, or sorcerers the game will always get a free pass.

bjornbear5034d ago

cole may not be pointlessly graceful, but infamous has THE BEST parkour mechanic, since you can climb 95% of EVERYTHING, whereas assasins creed is limited, and assasisn creed 2 is more open, but still no way as open as infamous.

This is exactly the kind of news that I like to hear. I'm going to get flamed for this, but inFamous wasn't as great as people made it out to be. It was overhyped in my opinion. It had the potential to be great (much like the first Assassin's Creed), but ended up falling flat due to the repetitiveness of it making it boring about halfway through. This became a huge problem for me. Assassin's Creed was the same way. Then they really stepped it up and fleshed out the potential when it came to ACII. If Sucker Punch makes the improvements like Ubisoft did with ACII, then inFamous 2 is going to be an amazing title. Like I said, the first was a great idea and awesome in concept. Just wasn't fleshed out and didn't truly realize it's potential. Step it up and do like ACII did and inFamous 2 could be one of the better games of this generation.

PS3 fans always make their games out to better than they really are. I'm not going to lie, tons of PS3 exclusives are VERY good games, but fanboys act like every PS3 exclusive is the best game ever made.

Baba19065034d ago

cant say i agree. i enjoyed infamous even more tha ACII. i might be alone in this but infamous was the first sandbox game i finished 2 times. but this sounds really cool couse ACII was really good too, so infamous 2 will rock my socks off. cant wait.

Cartesian3D5034d ago

and I enjoyed Infamous more.. may be because it had more action .. but it was actually FUN. and I dont agree with repetitiveness comments about this game, may be you dont have 30 abilities or 20 kind of magic or sth , but you can kill enemies with simple abilities in different ways and enjoy the game..

cant wait for Infamous 2

Raf1k15034d ago

Sounds like you get bored easily. All games have repetitive gameplay but it's the ones that keep it from getting boring that are the the most fun. Infamous did get boring from time to time so I agree with that and most games tend not to hit the ceiling when it comes to potential which is where sequals come in to improve on what the original had done. All in all though I think it was a really good game and really liked the twist at the end.

@x__JL__X

I have to disagree about inFamous being over hyped. inFamous did suffer from some very boring repetitive side quests but the main story missions, occasional set pieces and boss battles were far more interesting than anything the first Assassins Creed had to offer. The controls were beautifully responsive and the combat was far more enjoyable imho, and as far as story and narrative goes I think inFamous was by far the more involving game. I do agree that there certainly is room for improvement and that inFamous didn't realise its full potential but few games do in their first iteration.

Newtype5034d ago

It wasn't over hyped...where the hell are you coming from? It's one of the most underrated games.

I never played ac2 but I did pass ac1. Haven't tried inFamous. So I'm gonna say IDK!

BTW: I thought AC1 was waaaay overrated! (Repetitive as hell)

Ghost of Tsushima and SP were my 2020 goty & dev of the year.

Starman69243d ago

Christ, ghosts of Tsushima was absolute epic on ps5. Top 5 of all time for me 👍

northpaws244d ago

I need more from the Ghost's legend mode, too addicting but ran out of things to do after a few months, can't get enough of it.

MIDGETonSTILTS17244d ago

This means a new IP reveal is coming, right?

Why else educate the masses on a studio’s branding, if not to show off something that isn’t a sequel?

AdonisIsBeast244d ago

More action adventure titles in development or they actually going to dip their toes in an RPG? Tired of Sony’s formulaic titles

MIDGETonSTILTS17243d ago

I love Sony’s consistent output.

Thanks for the warning. I sure would have hated to have been surprised by installing a ubisoft game on accident.

Profchaos253d ago

Because you can't play all the games on every subscription already

KillBill253d ago

Valhalla is not on GamePass.

anast253d ago (Edited 253d ago )

I like Valhalla. The others haven't aged well.
