Top 10 Tuesday: Games as Art

In 2006, Roger Ebert, one of the world's most prolific and well-known film critics, wrote that videogames could not be considered art. It's not that the medium - still less than 50 years old - is too young, Ebert argued. Rather, he said, videogames' nature, their very raison d'etre, prevents them from ever being elevated to a higher status than that of pastime.

IGN begged to differ and they listed their top 10 videogames that prove Rogert Ebert wrong.

See what games made their list.

Superb find. While all those games are great and art worthy, I would have prefered to see Okami is number one, MGS3 instead of MGS2 and Final Fantasy VIII instead of VII (Nothing against the great VII but these are the games to show to Ebert as IGN states and he is so dumb that will call it non-art by its graphics and wont play until the devastating and superb story parts but FFVIII has enough visuals that may put some sense into old man's brain).
