GamingBits.com - Soul of Darkness review

As you could probably tell from the screenshots alone, Soul of Darkness bears an uncanny likeness to the Castlevania DS games. With that out of the way, the detailed 2D graphics, soundtrack, gameplay challenge, weapon upgrades, shape-shifting abilities and even some DSi camera integration makes for fun action-platforming. The initial playthrough on Normal difficulty won't take more than 5 hours, but the story and game is a treat, even if you are fooled by the Castlevania trickery. (Nintendo DS, Soul of Darkness) 4/5
