Is Qore somewhat the same service as First Play?

Wow Qore has gone beyond complete shit. Only reason I bought it almost a year ago was for the freebies, because all the information I can view of youtube for free. A free theme that's it? Let me guess, we get High Velocity Bowling for the 14th episode in a row? I will no be renewing my subscription to this garbage come August.

LOL, who actually pays for Qore? You can watch the episodes free on Youtube. Besides, if your on N4G alot, 9 times outta 10, Qore gives you information you already know. I don't know how Sony has the balls to charge for something that promotes their OWN products.

With Modern Warfare 2 being the best selling PS3 game of all time, ud think they'd make Qore free to better advertise PS3 exclusives.

Doesn't Qore come with PSN+?

Redempteur2962d ago

I can't find out where to get the qore episodes for free even though I have psn plus. It wants to charge me everytime I go to the qore thing on the playstation store.

Just like the free games each month on + they will be available to download for that month only. Each month will have it's own downloadable Qore episode for + subscribers.

"I don't know how Sony has the balls to charge for something that promotes their OWN products."

It's a MAGAZINE, and it's OPTIONAL, just like all other magazines that might have peoples' interests (notice the Future branding at the bottom of this page, it's also on both OXM and PTOM in the US in case you didn't know).

OH!!! BTW!!! Since people don't look up info enough, Qore's developed by a third party game dev, BACKBONE Entertainment. That should give you ALL a hint, right there.

First off its optional. Second everything cost money they have to pay the people who put that together and the qore yearly subscription is pretty cheap. Third they actually do reveal nice content that would take you awhile to find if you can find it anywhere else. Also to add you get exclusive things like betas/themes/demos.

Qore is fore people not like us who visit N4G daily to see whats up. Its a magazine its like complaining why people buy Peoples magazine when you can watch all the shit thats going on on TV or on the net.
