The Sly Collection’s evolved well beyond its predecessor

Scrawl: "PlayStation 3’s upcoming Sly Collection includes high-definition remastered versions of PS2’s Sly Cooper, Sly 2: Band of Thieves, and Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves. As with any high-definition remake, you’re probably wondering how the new PlayStation 3 visuals compare to the game’s original PS2 graphics."

I havent played any of them.. I cant be more happy with this one.. I love the Infamous , and Sly art style.. cant wait to buy this remake.. thanks for HD remake.. I only want MGS collection and Team ICO one.. and I will be the happiest gamer on earth..

BYE5038d ago

I haven't played either as well so it's pretty much like 3 new PS3 games on one disc.

ReservoirDog3165038d ago

I'm sure you'll love them if you love platformers. Great platformer with a lot of style, great characters and near perfect controls. What more can you possibly ask for?

Danja5038d ago

probably the best PS2 Platformer IMo... and Sly Cooper 2 :band of Thieves is the best in the series ...atleast to me

its also funny to note that Sony started 3D way back on the PS2 with Sly Cooper 3 : Honor Among Thieves r

Imperator5038d ago

Sly 2 is definitely the best. One my favorite games ever.

Darkstorn5038d ago

This Sly Cooper Collection will be a definite purchase for me, but I'm still waiting on an MGS Collection and a Team ICO Collection.

HolyOrangeCows5038d ago

The textures could be better, but at least it's sharper and it's freaking 3 games.

spunnups5038d ago

I havent played any of them either and will def be picking this collection up like i did the GoW collection. The difference with the GoW collection is I beat them both previously, and still had just as much fun doing it all over again.

ZombieNinjaPanda5038d ago

Definite improvement. I used to love the Sly Cooper games.

ZombieNinjaPanda5038d ago

Well I mean I don't own them or play them anymore, but I still love them!

I love the wider field of view!

irishyort2821d ago

Borderlands is great on my vita, the cart is well and truly glued in there. Super Meat Boy, Terraria, Binding of Issac and Guacameelee are highly recommended

Greatness Comes in Threes: Best Trilogies in Gaming - Part Two

SPC writes, "The trilogy-- in movies it's a common occurrence with hugely successful blockbusters whether it's Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Toy Story, or Back to the Future. Trilogies are also pretty common in gaming as well, but at the same token, an actual good trilogy is a completely different matter. This new article series details some of the very best trilogies that our hobby and industry have been able to create in its much shorter lifespan. This second edition (the first was seen last week) deals with more recent trilogies both official and unofficial."

My personal favourite is the Uncharted series, suprised that Mass Effect and Gears of War didnt get a mention in this article.

Phil323159d ago

No worries. They're coming in a future edition!

wonderfulmonkeyman3159d ago

It's sad to think that both Metal Arms: Glitch in the System and Banjo-Kazooie could have joined this list, but now they'll never get the chance...

Phil323159d ago

Yeah, Banjo-Kazooie is one of my favorite platformers of all time. I own Metal Arms and still need to play that. I know I went out of my way to pick it up.

PygmelionHunter3159d ago

Metroid Prime. It's not even a question.
