RoboAwesome's The Current Vitals on Wii’s Controversial Sensor

At E3 2009, Satoru Iwata introduced the Wii Vitality Sensor and stated that the focus behind the peripheral was to create software that would help players relax. According to Nintendo, the device “will initially sense the user’s pulse and a number of other signals being transmitted by their bodies, and will then provide information to the users about the body’s inner world”. Details have since been scarce and gamers hoping to gain a little more insight into this ambitious new gadget were sorely disappointed when it failed to make an appearance at the company‘s E3 showing.
