Five Games That Should Have Been Announced At E3 2010

Richard Bailey of writes:Now that E3 2010 has come and gone, I decided to take some time to reflect on the convention and all the games that were on display. Even though this was my first E3, I have to admit that overall the show and presentations were severely lacking news on some of the most anticipated, yet unannounced titles.

Microsoft and Sony’s decision to embrace the motion controller craze has sickened me while clearly proving that they are now doubting the one edge that they have had over Nintendo from the beginning, strength of AAA Games and Sony Exclusives. With all that said, here is a detailed list of a few titles that would have made E3 more impactful. Feel free to leave your comments, and suggestions below.

Portal 2 has got me excited... So much so that I'm replaying all the games in the Orange Box in order to refresh myself on the stories.

You and I did the same thing. I have played too many computer games in the past couple years, but seeing that Portal 2 trailer in the Sony conference made me crave some cake.

Why are people so desperate for every single game announcement to be made at E3? It's not the only gaming convention, there are quire a few! Don't forget about gamescom, GDC and TGS.

Regardless of how "special" one convention is over another, it doesn't make any sense for a company to reveal every game it has at once.

Gamers are so inpatient this generation it's unbelievable.
