Fail picture is fail, lol

zootang2946d ago

It is complete speculation. It shows a promo for DC shoes, nothing at all related to GT5.

GrieverSoul2946d ago

My thoughts too!

Why, how, when, who aproved this?!

DelbertGrady2946d ago

DC Shoes has everything to do with GT5. Well, maybe not.

Broken approval system is broken.

FishCake9T42946d ago

Ken Block (who owns DC Shoes as well as being a decent rally driver) is associated with Dirt 2 not GT5. Mabye the author got confused?

I guess you missed the 'investigates'. Did you even bother reading the article?

SCE President Shuhei Yoshida revealed that GT5 has stunt arenas and go-karting.

Gymkhana is very popular in Japan, and so it's perfectly reasonable that this type of 'stunt driving' could be what Yoshida was talking about.

Edit: Isn't it great when people disagree without giving a reason...

zootang2946d ago (Edited 2946d ago )

Have you read the article?? It mentions nothing of the SCE President and no quotes

So again....

Pure speculation

Edit: Disagree all you want I'm an avid GT fan and proud owner of a G25. I just like my facts

What is this news about? That Vid is quite old, and has nothing to do with GT. And Ken Block is btw Testimonial of Codemasters Dirt Series.

SCE President Shuhei Yoshida:

“Not only will Gran Turismo 5 deliver an even more comprehensive set of cars and courses than gamers saw with previous iterations, it will also feature new game-enhancing graphical effects such as damage, night racing and weather.”

“These innovations are twinned with the option to join millions of like-minded individuals globally within the Gran Turismo community and to find a driving experience to suit, whether that is taking on the Top Gear test track, CHUCKING CARS AROUND STUNT ARENAS, go-karting, creating and sharing your own track or intense head-to-head races. Who, where and what to drive is completely down to the individual.”

The article is about the stunt mode in GT5, that's why it get approved.

Donny2946d ago

how did this get approved? oooooollldddddd video.

csreynolds2946d ago (Edited 2946d ago )

Awesome video, but this has nothing to do with GT5. C'mon, a 'potential' stunt mode? In GT5? REALLY? I'm guessing someone was stuck for something to write about.

You want Gymkhana-like gameplay, try GRiD. Oh, and check your spelling of 'manoeuvre'...

Ok, found a GT5 post where Yoshida mentions go-karting and stunt arenas. Even so, the article concerned is very, very loosely linked. I stand by my comment; author stuck for writing material. This is more a promo video for Block and DC.

CellularDivision2946d ago (Edited 2946d ago )

If GT5 gets a stunt mode, ill take back everything Ive said about it, and buy it. Yeah, stunt driving in those graphics is an automatic buy for me.
Im not into realism, gameplay comes first. imo.
