At the Sony Booth: Hands-On Move, Eyes-On 3D

Cat takes a tour of the Sony E3 booth and gets some hands-on time with their new motion controller Move as well as some eyes-on with 3D gaming. (E3, EyePet, Gran Turismo 5, Heavy Rain , Killzone 3, Move, PS3, SOCOM 4: US Navy SEALs, Sports Champions)

Really looking forward to playing the complete games with Move. Wow, that was weird...I'm looking forward to playing a game with motion control.

The developers stated that their internal community was split between the two, not that one group pwned the other.

If the Move players are doing well in internal tests, it's also possible that they just happen to be the ones who are the most skilled SOCOM players, as well, or who understand the Move's benefits and downfalls, and cater their play style to suit it.

I believe the producer of S4 even stated that the Move players tended to be better "at sniping", but that DS players tended to be better in close quarters. Both those roles have a place in SOCOM.

Love the sound of this:

" Similarly, the demonstration of SOCOM 4 with Move controls was not only fun, it was precise, something I didn't think was possible in motion control. Additionally, I was able to play all of the Move offerings while seated, which is critical for the extended gameplay preferred by, well, me (and I'm guessing most of you, too)."
