IGN interviews Cliffy B and Rod Fergusson about the PC edition of Gears of War. See what new features will be added.
Epic has shown its o.g. fanbase(PC Gamers) alot of love on this version of GOW. A more extensive game at a less expensive price. I would really have like to seen this content availible for dlc on 360 bcuz i know alot of dudes are gonna be bummed about this, myself included. Especially the Brumak... He dies in the pc version which makes me wonder why they ever put it in the 360 version. I thought it would somehow appear and tie into the sequel but the pc version puts that theory to rest because Marcus and Dom smokes his ass like a Marlboro. PC'ers are lucky, 5 additonal levels and more Cole talking mad shiyat plus more features to boot. Awsome!
I dont get mad over these types of things but i gotta admit... I'm envious as hell. I couldnt even play it on pc if i wanted to. pc aint suped up enough. Maybe Epic will eventually have a change of heart. I doubt it tho :(
...how's that lawsuit coming along there fellas?
It didn't really hit me when they said Gears was headed to the PC at E3. I don't own a 360 but I'd played most of the Gears campaign over a friend's. I guess I've kinda been ignoring most PC games lately because of their tendency to favor Vista. But then it hit me, this is a great game and it's coming out for Windows XP. I had no plans of ever actually buying this game, and I'm not a big PC gamer, but if the price is right, I may just have to pick this one up when it comes out. Anyone know when that is, by the way?
I cant wait to see what this game looks like at 1920x1200 with all the setting full blast.
Even works on xp! Giggity giggity ^^ and yea looks like Epic still loves the PC a bit more. Even using a different UE3 engine so it would be very expensive and difficult to bring the 5 extra chapters to 360, but honestly it could still happen.
