Warblade is an arcade game with a focus on very good playability. It’s a shoot’em up type of game like the old classic arcade game Galaga. Warblade is an iPhone/iPod touch remake of my old Amiga game Deluxe Galaga. A very popular game for the Amiga computer and also as Warblade on the PC and Mac.
Portable Gamer: Shmups (Shoot’em Ups) have been a staple of gaming for decades. Warblade is a game in this particular flavor of genre. Now what makes this game so much more fun, addicting, and challenging than every other rendition of this game on the App Store? Well, read on and I’ll tell ya.
AppSafari: With a title that lights a fire in your belly and grows hair on your chest, Warblade far surpassed my hopes for another Galaga-esque shooter on the iPhone. Although it would be easy to write this off as “just another classic shooter”, there’s nothing “just” about Warblade.
