PlayDevil: Perfect Dark Review

With all the E3 news, PlayDevil still managed to publish a review starring Joanna Dark in her first adventure game (back from N64) "Perfect Dark". Now it has been ported by Rare to Xbox Live Arcade.

Is she still perfect after a decade?

Here's a snip:

Perfect Dark is a fairly traditional FPS- there’s no cover mechanic- but it seemed revolutionary at the time- with secondary fire modes, talking enemies, tiered missions, and alien weaponry (particularly the farsight, which automatically found enemies, then let you take them out, through walls). It’s less so now, but many more modern FPS games could still take a leaf out of Rare’s book. (Perfect Dark, Perfect Dark HD, Perfect Dark XBLA, Xbox 360) 89/100
