Xbox Evolved: "Dance Central, a Kinect game developed by Harmonix and published by MTV Games, will be coming exclusively to the 360 this holiday season."
I don't care what anyone says - I cannot WAIT to play this game. Hands down THE BEST game they showed for Kinect.
I'm with you on that
I like the fitness game. On average, most gamers are woefully unfit. It's no wonder women don't like gamer geeks in general when they stereotypically look like this: http://happyasamonkey.files... Have to say that the above doesn't apply to me personally, nor am I implying that ALL gamers are like this. However, most gamers could do with a dose of fun recreational exercise - aka the fitness game. Moms, Wives and girlfriends will love this, too.
I cannot believe I actually want to play this game. Holy sh*t. The world is coming to an end. Am I turning into the much-hated casual gamer?
First real dancing game?? Depends how you define real.. Just Dance was okay and singstar dance looks great too as for dance central the main problem is you need a $150 to play it.
looks fun - not for me though
http://i46.tinypic.com/23i6... not for 'many' people....
lol white people...no rhythm whats so ever. At least he looked like he was having fun :-/
You can just tell this is a Harmonix game. They absolutely rock at everything they do.
I actually thought this was pretty cool .
of the better games to be shown for Kinect, I might get it out But want to see more.
gotta admit...this is the ONLY game that M$ showed for Kinect that i'd be remotely interested in playing. fortunately, i already know how to dance :P
Games like this are the perfect application for Kinect. That might sound negative but it isn't, it looks great for people that are into dancing.
I agree I think games like Dance central are the only real game for kinect everything else is a little troublesome and a button/wand system would definitely work better like with the sports games.
BUST a GROOVE for ps2
true dat! DDR was great too!
I played this one dance game that was amazing!!! It's called High School: Awkward Nights. Make sure you buy her a corsage in the first level though...or you won't really enjoy the rest of it. The first few playthroughs, I didn't do a whole lot. The "Stand In The Corner" level was where I dominated. Once you get used to the gameplay though...you'll be doing the cha-cha all night! "Slide to the left...right stomp y'all!" Ahh...good times... Edit: Thanks, ya freakin' dick!
This game looks promising. See...this is what happens when a good developer tries something new. MS better have exclusive deals with 3rd party developers though. Sony has tons of in-house developers working on the Move stuff.
I am not the best dancer but I hope after I play this game I can go to club mansion and get it on.
