The latest issue of Weekly Famitsu magazine features an interview with Gran Turismo series producer Kazunori Yamauchi. He talks about some of the new features for the upcoming Gran Turismo 5 Prologue.
nice for a free game 40 cars a few tracks =P hehe lurv me ps3 ^^
they said price was going to be announced later, tho I think wont be expensive and well... IT'S GRAN TURISMO!!!!!!!!!! who can ask for more :) nice info and 12 cars online its fun and still twice as much as previous GT series
but what is this Gran Turismo? A game or some kind of car video?
In the full game for online. That would be sweet, drifting with kids from japan.... hell yerrr
Playing GT online sounds like fun, cant wait to give it a crack, though the features are a little bare atm what matters is that you can race with other people in the end!
If it has all that content in the prologue i'l; happily part with some 'reasonable' amount of cash for this. I bet it will be like £14.99 or around that on PSN for the UK or $19.99 for USA PSN? Either way it looks damn impressive!
Like last november. I bought this thing. called a PS3. I wasn't really sure why. I replaced my super cool PS2 console with this PS3 thing. And at the time all it did was make my PS2 games look like crap and play Taledega Nights over and over again. Now it upscales my DVD's, Makes my PS2 games look awesome, streams music, movies and pictures from my home pc and has a really cool online virtual store and here is the kicker.... I even plays "next-gen" games. And as days go by and things keep getting better and better. Im soo releaved for a second there I thought I bought a $600 Taledega nights player. : ) BTW: This sounds sooo freaking awesome. GT Prologue online. Sweet.
Damn GT5 Prologue is gonna be a system seller in it's own right lol! Ok maybe not a system seller on the scale of MGS4, FF13, Killzone or the actual GT5 but come on this could almost be a stand along game. I really hope they give the rest of us GT5 pro the day and date with Japan.
Gran Turismo series IS a system-seller, and GT3 was one of the biggest reasons for people to buy a PS2 so early in its lifespan. Ever watched those GT3 ads in movie theatres? Those made a lot of jaws dropped back in 2000-2001. Every Gran Turismo has shipped over a million units AT LEAST, and it's one of Sony's biggest first-party franchises. The good thing about the GT series is that it appeals to all the car fans out there. And trust me, there's a LOT of car fans, and GT5 will now have pretty much every car manufacturer in the game, now that Porsche and Ferrari have jumped on the bandwagon and were "impressed" by the sheer amount of detail put into their cars in GT5. There was an article about it many months ago :D Also, it appeals to gamers who are into racing, rather than RPGs, FPS, and Stealth games. P.S. I'm also hoping for worldwide GT5:Prologue release date. Hopefully, for free, or no more than $5.00 CDN.
Yep, it'll be THE reason I get a ps3. I love racing games. Don't matter what system, not a fanboy, love all of them- Forza, MotoGP, Dirt, PGR, and the GT series. Great time to be a racing junkie.
everythin CAST and RECIVE shadows. all surfaces are completely SMOOTH. Amazing Reflection. near PERFECT modeling ( LIGHTS , Tires ,Rings and etc that most designers usualy dont care about, even in PGR4 ) for this HUGE processing presure, 12 online player is F'in awesome.. u can really DRIVE all cars with this game.. cant wait to beat my buddy :P (He loves GT series even more than me)
Is this going to be like SOCCOM and Warhawk... Online downloadable game?
