Will the new Xbox 360 and Kinect attract non-gamers like me?

ZDNet's Mary-Jo Foley writes,
"I just finished watching the live feed (and a bunch of live blogs) covering Microsoft’s E3 press conference. I say “watched” loosely here because I am not a gamer and have no interest in becoming one. Console gaming bores me. (So does 99 percent of what’s on TV, but that’s another post….)

Microsoft is out to get me to change my mind about becoming an Xbox user (not a gamer). After today, however, I still have to say I am still unconvinced."

The story is too old to be commented.

I don't think it's aimed at highbrow dykes, so no.

I expected that kind of reply out of somebody like you..

Funny comment, but Soda, as xbox owners, what a terrible E3. What the hell were they thinking? I was banking on at least some Rare exclusive or ANYTHING for that matter. I was really hoping for some hardcore natal games for release. Nope.

I still will not ever get a motion controller. If I bought a wii Id get a regular controller.

it's the same old xbox with a new case, slightly bigger HD and built in wi-fi (which they should have had LONG ago). Hardly worth buying an xbox now when you didn't want one before. This is microsoft up to the same old tricks trying to get as much money as they can.
