Microsoft event was so over booked, Microsoft employees got kicked out of their own event to make room for more press. At least we weren't alone in our Xbox reject refugee camp.

Why would they do that?

Iamback2688d ago (Edited 2688d ago )

Giving free xbox's to journalist is one of most pathetic things i have seen in my life. They knew their press was lackluster so to make it up for journalists to not go ape s..t on them, they gave "gift". That ruins any journalist credentials of anyone who takes or took one. How can you trust that person when he/she is basically bribed? Well played MS, well played.

secksi-killer2688d ago

or perhaps that was their plan all-along, and these xboxs are for the JOURNALISTS to write about and review ????

or do you and the people that have agreed with you not think anything other than sinister thoughts about microsoft ?

gtamike2688d ago

It just shows they don't care, also buy their way into things.

Mista T2688d ago

they'll be getting more money from the causals so just like with there own employees they'll be kicking there fans to the curb

IdleLeeSiuLung2688d ago (Edited 2688d ago )

If my employees didn't look out for my companies best, I would fire them on the spot especially over something so trivial!

Marojado2688d ago

And then you'd get sued for unfair dismissal...

Regardless, people can't really criticise microsoft for doing this. E3 is for showcasing to the media, and the more media they can reach the greater potential for pushing Kinect into people's homes.

Imperator2688d ago

I would have walked out of there.

Christopher2688d ago (Edited 2688d ago )

1. This is normal. This isn't an event for employees, it's for the public. If you're taking up a seat for a possible customer, you go away.

2. Who is the guy behind him in the last picture?

john master lee2688d ago

Yeah, but they had invites. Why invite your own staff, and then don't let them in? That's not very nicey.

Those poor guys better get a bonus for giving up their seats!

Jason1432688d ago

They are microsft. They want money. I feel bad for the employees. Real shady man.

almehdaaol2688d ago

They shouldnt have over booked it in the first place =/ talk about taking one for the team

lokiroo4202688d ago

Was this a good or bad thing for them? LMAO!

Fishy Fingers2688d ago (Edited 2688d ago )

They've probably seen everything countless times, I dont know about them, but when my company are giving a presentation, I'd rather be in the bar than faking interest.

xX-PEIN-Xx2688d ago

don't try to spin it. Obviously they wanted to be there if they booked their seats. Its just M$ greed.

Fishy Fingers2688d ago

Ha, I'm not spinning anything, just posting my usual crap, I'm not here to try and defend a companies actions.

Although, if I were, I'd say it's right that employees were asked to give up their seats.
