THQ has announced that the popular Wii title's sequel will be coming to multiple other platforms including the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Great news. I played some of the first one on Wii, I should throw it in again and play some more, but I've been too busy with PS3.
Yeah, I gotta say it is a fantastic and really fun game. I hope it is downloadable though, cos it's the kinda game you can jump in and out of.
Sweet! Good news
This was known since it was first announced....
YES!!! This is a Day One buy for me!
Finally I can play de Blob with a standard control style. I loved everything about the original on Wii except the controls. Jumping by flinging the remote up is just silly. I hate when games throw in motion-controls like that for no good reason when a simple button-press would get the job done with more responsiveness.
The Wii version has standard controls as well now. It was a stupid design choice.
What do you mean when you say the Wii version has standard controls as well now? Do you mean the original game or the sequel that's coming out?
De Blob 2 I mean, they've mapped jump to the A button. Although I'm not actually sure if it has CC/GCN Pad support strangely enough. I'm not sure if new control schemes can be patched into Wii games but any updates would have to been anticipated, but it is possible to patch. Treyarch patched Modern Warfare: Reflex.
OK, cool. Well, I'll still get it for PS3/360 as opposed to Wii because it'll be the same game but better in terms of graphics. So I'm still happy with the announcement that it's coming to PS3/360. But either way, for everyone interested on any console, I'm glad to hear that everyone can play it without having to rely on stupid motion controlled jumping mechanics like the original.
Definitely getting this because it looks like a good idea & I know a designer of the game :D
