Rumour: Wii Getting New Peripheral at E3

Believe it or not, but the Vitality Sensor may not be the only peripheral for the Nintendo Wii that will be revealed. A rumour coming from Falafelkid has said that a "big publisher" will be revealing the new kit at E3 and that it has a very strong publisher backing.

A big publisher will present a very promising peripheral for Wii. You might think that all sensible peripherals have been done, but not quite. This one could become quite useful. And, surprisingly, the publisher has managed to secure the support of other publishers for it, I am told. So this one will not gather dust as soon as that ´Tony Hawk Ride´ board, they hope. I will only give you a cryptic hint: the peripheral will enable some seminal DS games to be adapted to Wii better than would otherwise have been possible. A cryptic hint, like I said. Anything dawning on you?

Clearly, this is rumour nonetheless, but Falafelkid's past record seems to have put him on the money.

then is pretty much over for MS

They did Wii Motion+ at last year's E3, actually. They even had Red Steel 2 on display using it (remember reading Destructoid's preview of it from the showroom floor).

I doubt we'll see another peripheral. Correction... I HOPE we won't see another peripheral.

The Wii Motion Double Plus Good: 1984 Edition.

They still need to tell us what that darn "Vitality Sensor" does. But seeing as Nintendo has released a new addon to the Wii every E3 so far. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw something new this year too.

Smacktard2777d ago

Did you guys even read the article? I was like "oh god what the hell..." at first too, but this, if true, actually sounds pretty good and promising.
