German website Gamersglobal.de released a 30 minute long Hands On video of Playstation Move
Well, that was great and all, but I want to see more than party games! I really hope new, original ip's are made for Move. Not an add on type game like LBP2 or RE5, but a completely new game made for Move's controls.
That was pretty bad, but whateva. Move looks a lot more satisfying to hold than the Wii....I'm so excited for E3. D:
Well it seems to work perfectly so why not?
can't wait to see that horror title for MOVE.
I'm thinking its this one http://www.gametrailers.com... it was reported canned, but its so similar the game with the flash light " in the move diary vid i
I remember a long time ago when someone posted that same vid and people thought it was Alan Wake. All 360fans were like "OMG, that looks incredible! So much atmosphere" ... Watch this same fanbase dogg this game once it gets announced as a PS3 game This is what I'm talking about, when you look at that you see what a Zombie game is supposed to be for current gen and why L4D seems "decent" to many people but not the "OMG LOOK AT TEH UBER GAME!" most 360 fans take it to be.L4D is essentially Co-op mode in Resistance2 but you dont' see the 360 fanbase going crazy over R2 do you?
I remember redwood falls at E3.. Wow that takes me back..
A Survival Horror Game + Move will be Just Awesome...
As a hardcore gamer I play all kind of games not just fps.
Im wondering how many move and natal games will have online support. For me to buy either one there going to need a good amount of games supporting online multi-player.
Damn. I didn't want to hype myself up for the Move, but then I watched this. Move Party looks hilarious.
Menu system on the sports game is terrible apart from that looks like a decent wii sports clone
that it was THAT precise. That was very very convincing. I thought it was just a Wii Clone but hell that was great indeed.
man this is so endorphin. its a mind raping snowball, just eat it.
Bubbles Nasty, that was gold.
Loving the volleyball! Even the graphics are crisp!! The trees waving in the wind and the sand looks great!
lmao i agree about the Volleyball it was fun watching them play an looks like fun ^-^
I really enjoyed disc golf. Do any of these titles support online?
Volleyball and disk golf look cool, but you'd have to wonder if Natal can do those two better, we'll see. I'm just really wondering about precision and gesture recognition with Natal, I'm really skeptical that it will be worse than MS tells us it is.
move is beyond anything Better than counterpart consoles
At least they are showing it....even if u guys think its like the Wii....which you would be wrong
Sigh...Red Ball agai...oh wait
I like the fact that it takes some getting used to to properly play. Not that Wii doesn't, but this seems challenging in it's own way.
Don't attack me for saying this but, how can ps3 fanboys knock on natal and call it crap while they say this is amazing? I admit it is very precise, and it looks fun, but "amazing"? Again, don't attack me, I know there will be some hardcore games for the move which is great as well. I just want a legit response.
Well its MS's fault. Most of the vids shown are of the Red ball game and that's it. And even the latest red ball video showed some lag and bow legged messups so even a casual user would probably say the same as the ps3 fanboys. They shown a rare canoe game but still it is all about the red ball. Until E3 starts the crap they are getting is what we can see with our own eyes. Sony has shown a lot more variety. Again MS wanted to wait till now to show it so up until then the criticism by any kind of person toward Natal is deserved
I agree with you on this. I am not saying Move doesn't have potential. Infact I think it has more potential for core gamers than Natal. But what Sony has shown so far is good but not amazing & I am hoping all this changes at E3. The best thing Sony can do is add move support to Resistance 3, Killzone 3 as well as previous titles like, Ratchet, Uncharted 1 & 2 and Demon Souls.
yeah I agree, and SOCOM 4 is a great start
Thanks for the thoughtful replies.
faclon PUNCH. The move is the best ever
I really hope Sony & Microsoft show something amazing this E3. I am sick and tired of both Microsoft and Sony showing the same games for the last 6 months or so. I am more concerned from the Microsoft side as there hasn't been a mention of any core games, while the likes of Gears and Halo Reach which are big MS games aren't supporting it. While Sony has only showed these stupid Wii Knock offs. I know LBP2 will be amazing. But I want something new and fresh.
Wow the move is pretty precise when they were playing swat the bug party game you got my eye's open sony keep it up.
think i might actually buy this.
I am extremely impresssed! I was in awe watching that, especially the 2nd part with "move party" jesus christ, look how good the things like the paint brush, that tennis racket thing and the hair clippers stayed connected to the controller! It honestly blew my mind and i will be at gamestop the day of E3 to pre order this as soon as sony announces pre orders are open. THIS is the future, and the fact that not only can you play amazing party games, you can also use this for FPS, socom 4 along with ton of other hardcore games.
when he shines the torch into the camera and it keeps tracking that is heavy duty tracking good stuff.
And its the price of a game :P SOLD Volleyball and table tennis look great and the gladiator game with two controllers looks very promising.
I need to look into the video/ MOVE more if they've perfected the lag/delay:/ but this is looking sweet. I'm not really digging the Split screen crap. But this will be cool on versus online for the Gladiator game! but the down side for split screen is you can't block:/ Wow the Party Game looks really fun!:) also player 2 can distract! Did you see the sucker turning it into a flash light!? O_o "YessSsSsSsS" that sound is starting to get on my head O_O I really hope the MOVE could work with Heavy Rain and FLoW
xino.. the only reason they couldn't block with split screen was because they only had two move controllers... if they had 4 controllers then they would both be able to block.. you can see the option before the game starts they both select one controller instead of two controllers each.
That was actually pretty funny. These guys were a lot more entertaining than the boring lady in purple that used it in the older video. I liked the part when the guy just got done making a circle outline and they took the design away from him. lol If I play any of those, it would be volleyball. They should also think about putting High Velocity Bowling in there since it's already established and can easily include motion control. That would be their Wii Bowling. Does Wii Sports have volleyball? I played it before, but never saw volleyball. I was playing bowling and boxing most of the time. I don't want to say I'll be buying this, though. Those are just appetizers to get you into it. I'll get it if I see some good games work well with it. I'm not sold, but I am a tiny bit impressed.
Not bad, but i want to see some hardcore games.
I'll hold off on this at first wait for the Dust to clear, This is still a Wii Motion Plus 2.0 nothing more. Sony is just trying to jump on Nintendo Wagon.. Admit it or not.. I can't play the Wii because of the Controls
and natal is eyetoy 1.5
...I found that video totally .... dull. I had my fill of party games that require only basic motor skills to master with EyeToy on the PS2. Move is being marketed as the next big thing but as yet I've seen nothing that lives up to the hype.
...and to be honest I don't think Move provides a better alternative than using dual analogs for controlling TPS and FPS games. Move for me works best with games that require more pronounced hand gestures and arm movements. Not games that predominantly require small wrist movements to control aiming. Honestly, do you personally think Move is better than using dual analogs for controlling this style of game? Hell, I cant remember the last time someone saying the PSP needed a Move style controller over a second analog nub...
You're right. They shouldn't even have that circus thing with the teeny-bopper hosts to show Move. Why there is a seperate show that makes Move seem like something revolutionary is beyond me. I wish Sony would show more games that actually look good. Wait. . . Something seems backwards about my comment. Your comment too, Close_Second.
Volleyball looks solid.
Okay 3 things. One. I thought the hair cutting game and the bug swating game was funny. Two, the accuracy of the sports games impressed me but they need some fine tuning and livelining up. Three. I love how the Move wand changes into whatever tool or object you need in the game. This could be fun and challenging if you need different weapons or tools to complete an objective. Just show me the light saber or sword fighting game with me in it and this is my present this Xmas.
I like what Sony is doing with the MOVE. I'm more impressed with what MS is ATTEMPTING to do with NATAL but that doesn't not take away what SONY has SHOWN that it has accomplished with their Tech. You can say that it's a HD Wii or whatever but any advancement in the mo tech is good for gaming in general. As a side note...even though SONY has shown more games than MS(Natal), how are these games more impressive than the infamous red ball or the painting game they have? I look at both and think that both companies are doing a good job on what they're trying to accomplish. Yes lag is evident in the Natal(in both actually) but it's not a deal breaker by any means. I simply wish that people could simply appreciate what the game companies are trying to provide gamers and leave it at that. Let SONY and MS do the name calling and let us gamers do what we do best...play games. Anyhow good job on this SONY.
I simply state my opinion on the MOVE...then move(no pun intended) to discuss mo-tech in general without bashing of any kind and yet I get 3 disagrees(which is okay because that means you don't...agree) WITHOUT an explanation. Normally a simple disagree would be okay someone things the game or device sucked. But when you get like numerous disagrees without an explanation its normally a sign of a fan boy stampede. I remember now, I forgot to choose sides in this game war. After all, all our lives depend on it right?
Pretty much the way of N4G tho its improving in some ways. I once spoke against Halo 3 and Killzone 2 in a single post and lost some bubbles and got slammed with disagrees with no replies. Meh best to just roll with it. Those who enjoy gaming in all its forms are reading these also, let the kids squabble. Anyways at the moment I like the potential thats evident in both. Smart minds will get behind each device and probably even surprise Sony and MS with how they are using the tech, I'll wait for those games. In the meantime they both look like good casual fun on HD consoles and if the price is right I'll give them a go.
This looks pretty awful. I guess the whole 'motion gaming = party minigame collection' prophecy was true after all. We're doomed.
Looks like a great game to play with the girlfriend to me.
Not going to lie that shit bored me to death.
show some real games. If I wanted to play games like that I'd have never sold my wii.
Does this remind you of something? http://www.youtube.com/watc...
Stupid Wii..hahahaha...It is nothing against a little camera.
"The Wiimote is lame, but Move is so accurate, that I just cant wait to play tennis!" I'm loling pretty hard from these comments.
But it would make a lot of sense for people to import their Home avatars into these games. I hope Sony will show something like that at launch. This will also make Home more meaningful to people.
as a shield?
Is there any sort of time limit on how long before people stop b**'hing and moaning about the Move being a copy of the Wii-mote and how it's the same and how we all are hypocrites? That and the dildo joke are starting to get on my nerves. Are you Wii and 360 owners getting nervous or something? You didn't think Sony would stand by and take being in third place forever did you? Now please grow up. That's how business works. You make something and I try my hand at making it better or more efficent. Nintendo still up to this day hasn't done anything revolutionary with the Wii-mote or proven that it's better than a controller,so lets see what Sony can do. Okay?
The table tennis and volley ball seem pretty neat and fun to play
I'm glad Sony are sticking to their 'We're certainly not interested in any gimmicks' code or they might be accused of being hypocrites or something.
so un-original and lame...sony hopes to steal a few Nintendo fans but it will fail due to the fact that both move and the wii are so similar...Natal offers a completely different experience...nothing like it on the open market..say what you want...Natal is to be reckoned with...Hmm wonder how many PS3 fanboys will be watching the natal unveil tomorrow...lol...
Sony came up with the camera first and they came up with the motion "wand" before Wii so what you just said is null and void. It seems the only things you trolls can say is ps3 fanboys this ps3 fanboys that. You can't back up 360 with much of anything can you? Sony has a massive AAA line up of exclusives and you're quakin in your boots.
Well Move has already proven itself helped by the Wii So It's a more secure and accurate choice for me...
Now really can't wait to see Ape Escape for Move since it will be built around the Move Controller that will be pure win.
it is amazing how they made it so precise. I am kind of hoping sony will come out with a new playstation eye cause the video quality of the camera could be better.
