WingDamage: "With the increasing number of HDTVs in homes, many Wii owners have cried out for a “Wii HD”; something that could make their games shine with all the P’s the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 have been enjoying. In all honesty, I don’t think the Wii HD will ever happen. I feel brave (or stupid) enough to say that right before E3.
Our only non-emulator based HD solution for Wii seems to lie in the VD-W3 Wii HDMI Upscaler Processor. But does it actually work?"
Game Rant chats with the creator of No More Heroes about who he would like to see play the role of Travis Touchdown in a live-action adaptation.
Actually Ryan Gosling makes a ton of sense.
Edit: If this can be done in a Scott Pilgrim movie kind of way that would be dope.

a simple way to improve wii image quality is to use a 4:3 aspect ratio. Max wii res is 640*480 regardless of aspect ratio. Trouble is 640*480 is a 4:3 aspect vga resolution. So viewing in widescreen you are effectively stretching the output image horizontally and exacerbating the aliasing problems SD games without AA have.
I have the vdigi wii vga cable outputting to an old fashioned 4:3 CRT( no shitty LCD/Plasma scaling needed) and the image is glorious, I cant go back to connecting it too my Plasma now. Even blurry shite like Dirt2 wii actually looks sharp through VGA on CRT.
I had a dream last night that nintendo unveiled a wii hd add-on for the wii, which will make all current and future wii games hd.
dreams can come true, right?
