Sony will heavily be pushing its motion control, PlayStation Move, to make an impact on the market, especially if it’s to challenge Microsoft’s Natal. And what better way than to have a catchy, short, sweet slogan to go with it?
Guess we'll find out when E3 rolls around!
Can't wait at all
Risky name, journalists could use it against Sony if it doesnt impress them. Just remember 2006-2007 and what they did to PS3
Its a reference to 3D, not MOVE. I have seen this in a number of ads before all referring to 3D.
@Whitto: 3D you say? http://www.gamekyo.com/Webm... Yep, sure.
^^ lol ok but everytime I have seen that it has been for 3D. Sony Stealing Slogans! :O
The Wii already changed it though
Sounds like the iPhone 4 slogan "This changes everything. Again." But, meh! This one coincides with their "It only does Everything" slogan.
And so it begins...
Definitely possible. This Changes (blah) (blah) (blah) (blah) EVERYTHING I actually think it could be 3D, too. Maybe they'll mix the two together. Both of them can actually "change everything". EDIT: Judging by the picture below, I'd say it's the Move slogan: http://www.gamekyo.com/Webm...
Yeah, my guess is that it has to do with the general direction the Ps3 is taking with 3D, Move, etc. this fall/holiday.
"How about the power to shoot a player...WITH WIRELESS NUMCHUCKS. How about the power...to Move you!"
Bubbles for TD reference...
They could run the standard "It only does everything" ad but cross out "does" and write "changes" beside it.
Probably what they'll do
Sony isn't playing around this time. Playb3yond
"This Changes Everything." I've heard that somewhere recently.... oh yea! The iPhone 4's slogan. "This changes everything. Again"
Sony's PR Team aren't very good at keeping back leaks are they? "OK guys, we know Motorstorm got leaked before the official reveal, so this time we will put our info on the top of a building that will be visited by tens of thousands of people".
how about... "Move out of the way, Wiimote." jk. I own a Wii. :)
http://www.gamekyo.com/Webm... Yep, the site is right.
Drop the ps3 name change it too playstation move and release it In Mista voice for only $99.99. let the suker kill off nintendo and its little wii wii and bring on the ps4 super console with higher specs than any pc for years to come for only the rich 999.99. By the time the ps move kicks nintendyboys but the ps4 will have a nice price range of around 399.99. The ps4 and ps3 would have compatible games + the dedicated ps4 uber 3d super awesome everything so the choice is yours. Then they can write off the ps2 and let it ride off into the sunset. LOL and if anyone thinks im being serious ha well let your imagination just roll.
Its a slogan.... Does it really matter?? edit. "This changes everything"?! No I don't think thats the slogan.
Shows the direction Sony is aiming for with move - Casual, and Hardcore - Everything
i agree with the doc because Sony is saying hey look at us here we have some new stuff and will gather a curiousity factor. Its all about genereting a buzz of interest and for the folks who think that wii is is the place for motion gaming they now see that they play in everyones ballpark now.
You don't think that's the slogan? Oh, take a look at this image and please say that again: http://www.gamekyo.com/Webm...
ur link jack unfortunatly cant handle thee epicness. ill try later.
Well played,, lol. :gives bubbles to all:
It wasn't leaked. Even Geoff Keighley posted it to his Twitter. It's on a GIANT sign in front of the main building. Haha...
could have more than just marketing connotations for the motion controller/3D. the PS3 has been the whipping boy of the industry for a long time. this ramp up to E3, Sony has been firing on all cylinders. it started with the price drop last year, buoyed by strong software (Uncharted 2, Demon's Souls, Ratchet and Clank, God of War 3, etc), and now Motion Controls and 3D gaming. this could be the E3/Year that REALLY changes everything about how the PlayStation 3 is perceived as an entertainment platform. the competition appears to be stumbling these days (little surprises/reveals). MS is still the best competition Sony has, but their lack of strong first and second party support is beginning to show. Nintendo is beating to their own drum, sure, but now the competition is offering something they DON'T: motion control gaming, 3D, and ALL in HD. the price of the PS3 isn't a big deal when looking at what's included for that $299 price. both MS and Nintendo need to come with something that will get people looking in their direction again. it's not just here on N4G that all the talk the past 4 months have been about Sony. it's ALL OVER the gaming internet that all eyes are on Sony. Motion Controls don't necessarily have to be a big hit for Sony to succeed. their software lineup is strong with or without motion controls or 3D. Microsoft is hinging a LOT on Natal, so it HAS to deliver. Nintendo has already hinged their ENTIRE business strategy on motion controls on the Wii, and it's worked beautifully for them, but their challenge now is producing content that will KEEP the audience from peeking over at the HD console's fancy new motion control tech. Sony is in a win/win position right now. they have the gamer's attention. they have the media's attention. and there isn't an obnoxious "Riiiiiidge Racer"/"Giant Enemy Crab" meme of old in sight.
"Move into the Action" - I think, that´s the real Slogan
I'd lyk to see something that takes the mick out of other motion controls, lyk is natal is going to b called wave 'Wave goodbye to old motion controls' sounded gd in my head
"I like to Move it! Move it!" http://www.youtube.com/watc... That's catchy...
