Some impressive comparison shots from Mafia 2 and L.A. Noire.
Mafia 2 will be the better game
Whilst I am anticipating the release of Mafia II more, I don't believe its fair to call which will be the better game, when we haven't seen gameplay of L.A Noir...
I couldnt care, there both day 1 purchases
Mafia II will be amazing, but hat's off to L.A Noire because they look like they will be making a pretty amazing game as well.. I Pre-ordered Mafia II a long time ago since I played the first one and loved it... So I'm expecting a really Awesome game. As for L.A Noire we have not seen much but at this point and especially after Red Dead, I think Rockstar has got this open world thing down to a science.. -So I can't wait to see what they do with this one, could be huge.. Maybe we will get to see something at E3 .____........___...____ .____||......||.......____|| ||.........___||.......____||
How can they vs. each other when they are made by the same company? They are also different in play style!
And I think the gameplay will be better as well "judging by Mafia I on PC" , keeping my fingers crossed
I could give two shits about either game. All I see are screen shots, just show us video already or fuck off.
Somebody woke up on the wrong side of the bed. There are videos for Mafia II AND Developer Walkthroughs so please, dont act like a child seeking attention...
lol.. damn shredder. I feel the same way about GT5.. but as far as release date.
they alteady showed mafia 2 gameplay and trailers, nothing on noir tho
I don't care about either game but if I had to choose then I would rather have Mafia 2 as it has a higher chance of not being as buggy.
"it has a higher chance of not being as buggy." O rly?
I'll be getting L.A. Noire, probably not Mafia 2. I think LA N will have a really deep storyline and I'm very interested in the new facial capture tech. Plus Mafia was very disappointing imo. The gunplay was off and the cars drove like 2mph. Not very exciting.
Me too, but its not just facial capture. They capture the whole body. Unless I misunderstood the GI article, they use actors and capture them with multiple cameras and have a new way to put all the film together to make a "3D" model of them. It has taken so long to get the new tech right, but if it succeeds it could greatly reduce development time, and improve animations. I could be wrong though.
I played Mafia 1 on the PS2 and I did'nt particularly like it. I felt the driving was too slow aswell. I hope Mafia 2 is a lot better, it would be good to have a great game with this theme.
Can't Wait!! for both. But I'm still most excited for LA:N. For me it's all about the map, and this is what LA:N can do: "The city has been rendered almost 100% accurately to its 1940s layout. Using hand-drawn maps from the time and early aerial photography, Team Bondi has recreated the city right down to 3D shop fronts, but simultaneously making this a bigger environment than anything yet seen. And in this pre-freeway era, you'll even drive down streets that don't exist any more, which sounds kinda spooky to us." http://www.gamesradar.com/f...
And I'm getting especially bored with the rockstar ones. Do they honestly need to create a gta in every decade?
