Electronic Entertainment Expo has been going since 1995. Back then, the show at Los Angeles Convention Center featured PlayStation, Saturn, Virtual Boy and Neo-Geo CD. Even in its first year, E3 immediately gained a reputation as the premier US games exhibition, thanks to the 80,000+ attendees who passed through the doors.
Since then E3 has grown, downsized, gone from casually allowing almost everyone in to strict invite only policy, hit Santa Monica, gone back to LA... and yet always remained the focal point of the videogames industry ever year. Here's a quick look back at the last 10 years of E3 and Microsoft's involvement!
