Interview: Reinhard Pollice and Arcania: Gothic 4

The often overlooked Gothic series has been with us for almost ten years now. First released back in 2001, Piranha Bytes' Gothic games have always been unconventional in their nature. Less a pure role-playing game experience, and more a healthy mix of RPG, adventure, and action elements. The series has always been held in high regard by gamers and critics despite some rumblings about clunky mechanics.

Now, the series is back with a new developer, Spellbound, and a new game - Arcania: Gothic 4. In keeping with this sprit of rebirth, Arcania will be the first Gothic game not to be exclusive to the PC. It will be coming to the Xbox 360 and PS3. (Arcania: A Gothic Tale , Arcania: Gothic IV, Gothic 4, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)
