i loved the franchise till it ceased to evolve by pro 2006.to which fifa leaped frogged it and became superior in every aspect.watching previews of the new pro and its 8 directional movements,it just looks old and tired.

pro is a perfect example of a game which didnt evolve and is destroyed by that.
RIP PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER..your name is now redundent.an oxymoron.its anti-evolution soccer.

its been 2 years since i bought a copy of PRO.since the shameful 2006 version.last year i tried fifa.the first time since 1996.i was blown away by the 360 degree directional movement.i thought maybe this year seabass would have caught that feature at least.no no..its just a rehash with more imaginary names and teams.

i weep for the PRO team.RIP to the 1 time ,only name in console football game. sleep well.

thats what happens when competition fuels a fire under a dev, case in point EA....the Winning 11 series is a great series, Konami needs to go back to its roots and look back at what made the classics so great....if only EA didnt own the license to the NFL...we would see better quality football games as well
